Hey Matt, gonna bring the 105 down to the shop and say hi of you are going to be around. Needs some work done on the big blue whale;)

Sorry for lack of updates for anyone whos been following. Been doing tons of Cruiser work at the old shop while still plugging at setting up the new one. Have had over 20 Cruisers through the shop in the last two months alone. Dad and I still doing everything ourselves.

Where is the new shop located in Winter Park?

Love it Matt!!! Very excited you took this leap. It is right!

Yes, it is in Winter Park. I will publicly post the address within the next few weeks. Not quite ready yet.

Gotcha.

First lift temporarily powered up and cables adjusted. Going to run a nice line across the ceiling, welder outlets are going to mount on the lift posts and be on the same circuit.
Two more to go. They still need to be adjusted to final location and anchored down (tomorrow night’s project).

Never dealt with putting up car lifts myself. It was pretty straight forwards, well worth doing it ourselves especially with the forklift.

Yo can I come down, tear my Ford apart, and put the 05+ frame clip in?

Yeah bro. Just dont tell anyone.

I spent most of this week on a 40, disc conversion and a bunch of other odds and ends, that will be the last work at the old shop.
Took today off and got my work bench and current main tool box set up at the new shop. Took the time to fix something that always bugged me and raised the shelf 12”.
MUCH better.
I cut 6” off the shelf to be able to fit the upper portions of the box on top of the bench.

I pulled this bench out of the trash at UCF. It had been in one of the cafeteria kitchens.

Last picture is what it would look like at the end of a crazy week at the old place. Hopefully it never looks like this again.

Ahhh, the old cafeteria kitchen table. Had one myself. Always wondered the total square footage of pizza that came across it before it switched to work bench duty.

@cruisermatt are you open yet for a small job?

Sorry, realized I hadn't updated this thread in a bit. Yes I have been working out of the new shop full time since mid-october. However I am not scheduling any new work until next year.

Shop view as of this moment.

Making some headway on a Isuzu 4BD1T conversion into a FJ62. Rough mockup phase is about done, lots of custom work about to start flowing for this one.

In the very last finishing stages on @papabeach FJ40. Down to the fun accessory stuff, stereo, lighting, etc. really happy about how the rear chop and wheelbase extension came on on this one. The FJ60 power steering is awesome too.
Waiting on the replacement bib to come back from paint and then it will
be hammer time on this one.

Next on the chopping block is this 68 California trail rig. Its got 5.29 gears in it and we’ll be stepping back to 4.56’s if anyone wants to buy the complete thirds.

It’s loosing the gutless SBC / 4-speed/single piece case, and getting a LSA, NV4500 /splitcase transplant. Vintage Air as well
