good choose my dad just sold a 2005 cummins 220K a year ago and wishes he had it back. went to a 1/2 ford gas 2012 with the 5.0. had to have it towed to the dealer for repairs just a month after purchase. he wasn't happy after selling a truck that never left him stranded in 6 years of service.
the only thing he had was a cracked injector line. i believe it was #3 but don;t quote me. many people on the forums carry one in there tool box as it's a common issue. dealer had it on the shelve and was the only one on the shelf as the rest never go bad.

Love your build! With your half doors, did you brace the inside, where you cut into the door panel, or did you just weld sheet metal into the cutouts? Anything you would change about it? I have an extra set of doors that were damaged in the PO's rollover and have been contemplating the half doors, and like the lines you did. Trying to get ideas before I tackle mine.

I bent and welded in new metal out of 14 or 16 gauge sheet steel. Made it very strong. Only thing I would change is that I would recommend cutting right above the reinforcement (side impact) rod.
Half doors are awesome. I had tubes originally, but they let too much dust in the cab and did not do much to stop water on river crossings.

Got A/C finally done today. 2 years and 3 sets of lines and finally one newer condenser.
It sounds silly to have air without the possibilty to close in the cab; however, for defrost or just to cool off the floor that acts like a radiator without the carpet will be very nice.

wanted to post up some recent updates to the half doors.
Not sure if I ever posted up the aluminum inner cards I made last year. Well, here they are. Front and back are the same. I welded in weld nuts into the half door back when I made them, so I just had to make a pattern and bolt them in.
First and best is the pads I put for your elbow when driving. Made them out of marine vinyl from Joann fabric. Thanks again to @tornadoalleycruiser for use of the machine and to @StucknKS for pointers of how to cut and stick the pieces. Base of this is 1/2 plywood that I put about 10 coats of poly on. Attached with bolts going through the top of the door and into T nuts in the wood -- this brought back memories of skateboarding years ago.
Then I made "pockets" to go in the empty door shell to hold stuff. sewed rare earth magnets into it to hold, and it did great. probably about 7 magnets per bag. On the bottom, just used some gorilla tape, as I will pull these out for storage to keep mice damage to a minimum.

Also, the seats were amazing. I have about 30 hours of offroading at Flat Nasty with TAC this last weekend, and my back does not hurt at all. Took Peggy around a couple days (our club mom) and she appreciated their comfort.
PRP seats are the real deal.
Need to pull them out and add seat heaters for our event next month as I don't think it will be 90 on Halloween.

So we were headed through a trail at flat nasty called the proving grounds. What it proved was the trees don't like me. We we're headed up an extreme angle hill with basketball size rocks on the road that were loose and about halfway up we had a split between two trees. After about 2/3 of the way past the trees the car the tail end of Foo was excused from all influencenes of gravity and swung like a baseball bat into the side of the tree. I am amazed at how well Monstaliner has put up with abuse

When out to Tuttle Creek this weekend with TAC. It was about 24° when woke up on Saturday, so I was very thankful that I installed the seat heaters. I had to turn them on low, as they got too warm! On the second day, Foo's radiator spouted a leak, so put on the trailer and drove another members mini truck Thanks @kc_chevota

I meant to post this up..... I thought that I was being smart, getting a 10mm thread brake proportioning valve for my ABS delete, so I would not have to reflare the ends.....
Well, not so fast. They needed a longer threaded end to fit, so I ended up having to redo both lines going to this unit.
