I just installed fender flares on El Troque, and I really need to get those wheels set out a bit now. I'm running 35x12.50x16 tires, and the front rubs a bit on the trailing arms at full lock. That isn't the main thing but I'd like to correct it also.

So what spacers will fit on these hubs? Can anyone post a link to good quality units in the USA?

Your hub specs should be the same as a any 70 series (prior to the 5 lug models) and it should be 6 on 5.5" (6 lug). Select any spacer of the thickness you are looking for, just make sure that you search for 6 on 5.5" wheel spacers.

A lot of people have great things to say about Spidertrax Wheel Spacers. They only seem to offer a 1.5" thick:

Toyota 1.5" Thick Wheel Spacers

Spidertrax also has an outlet section where they offer spacers with "cosmetic blemishes" for a reduced price.

Hope this helps,

-Alberto

Thanks Alberto I have read something about two different diameters of hole in the middle do you know anything about that?

thin spacers Adaptit USA Wheel Adapters and Spacers, not cheap but precision made 15 day lead time. I had to get 8mm for project. These are direct fit not universal crap.

I bought h&r spacers (47mm) which are german made using the number and submitting through ECS tuning on Ohio (I got 5 lug because i need those). $202 plus $13 freight- better than the common chinese ones on ebay for $59.

From ebay. A seller in Indonesia. I'm pretty pleased with them. Molded fiberglass, and not flawless but nice. By the way, instead of spacers I've decided to get some deep dish black steelies to accomplish the same thing without adding a piece of bolted on hardware behind the wheels.

Good Idea. Were they listed as for an LJ78? How much extension on the flares? BTW grew up in Bradenton.
Bradenton is a good place. If I remember right they were listed for an LJ76 or 79. Search by Land Cruser LJ Fender Flares and you'll find them. If you don't then let me know and I'll look it up.
