What shackles are you running with your SJ 4" lift?

My shackles right now are ~~6" eye to eye. I'm thinking about getting some that are more stock length or maybe 1" over.

Mine are 3 1/4" eye to eye.

I want less lift and better caster angle.

I have the BDS 4" springs with stock length shackles front and rear, no shackle reversal. I could use another 1" in the rear to level it. I used 4 degree shims in front and got about +1 degree of caster. Need 6 degree shims to make it right.

phishtaco-

What tires and size are you running? I am running 35s with a SUA with stock shackles, with cut rears, I only have rubbing at extreme articulation. I use the 4 degree shims up front to get my caster angle straight.

33x12.5 BFG MT ....Wish I had 35/36 but what can you do when you buy a rig with 500 miles on the tires.

stock front, 1.5" over rears, rears cut running 35's and no rubbing.

what are you looking for? stock should work fine...i wanted to run 35's so i ran 2 1/2" rears and 1 1/2" fronts with btb shackle reversal on the nuclearlemon (may it rest in peace)..ended up going 33 since it was a better fit.

chin lake...been so long ago that i don't remember how to get there, but i'm sure al knows the way. it was beautiful!!!

stock length SOR greasable/ anti-inversion.

IMO with 4"+ lift springs anti-inversion is a good idea...

You can always slap some shims in the front there taco.

With stock length shackles I added 2.5 degrees of caster in the front, made all the difference in the world, especially flat towing.
