I have a leak coming from my rear floating axel. What is the seal called so I can replace it?

There is a 'paper' gasket there. The Toyota dealership will have them in stock.

I'd also inspect and repack the hub bearings, replace the 'oil' seal on the inner side of the hub, and the 'oil' seal that fits inside the bearing retaining nut. The whole hub likely needs to be serviced if it's leaking... And hasn't been done recently.

*****Don't use RTV silicon***unless you want to redo it after breaking all your axle studs off*****

thanks guy appreciate the quick response

43422-60010 is the correct part number.

Is this the part number for the gasket? Is the gasket the same for a FF axles used on the 4X and I assume 6X series? Besides the seal for the hub to seal wheel bearing grease isn't there also a second seal for the end of the spindle to prevent diff oil and grease from mixing? Part number for that.

^^ Yes. Same gasket on all FF rears up through the 80 series.

90310-35001 is the spindle seal.

90311-62001 is the hub seal (same as the front hub seal).

I thought 90311-62002 was the rear FF axle seal

and 90311-62001 was the front seal?
