looks like an oil lubing / filtering system with a gear pump and a couple of filters (or maybe accumulators?). Guessing not hydraulic fluid cuz the gauge only goes to 100 psi?

If so what is it used for? Oil recirculation for some sort of machine or motor?

Those fittings look stainless. Maybe some sort of food grade transfer pump?

I was first going to suggest something from the dental field - I have seen vacuum pumps with similar piping/filtering on them - but the pump looks like a refrigerant pump I have that was off an airconditioning reclaim/recharge machine.

Those two cannisters look like coalescing filter elements for filtering and drying air.
yep, look like old school motorguard filter units. i've got a newer m30 unit, uses the toilet paper roll filters

ah, that one is for vacuum pumps. Interesting. Although that could be with a specific grade of filters only.

Since found out that the canisters are indeed Motorguard. The pump is a Tuthill 9409.

looks a lot like this one also:

although that one does not mention vacuum pump specifically. Maybe for generic oil filtering as I originally guessed.

have not opened it up to see what filtering medium is in there.

opened one up. There was indeed oil in there. No room for a toilet paper roll, though. Looks like the filter media -if that is what it was- is only in the top half. Is yours for air or oil?
