Those that have done, (or did at one time) the "hitch pin mod", did you flare out the bottom of the bracket to help guide the arm back into place? Is that even an issue?

Never had an issue getting the arm back into place, getting the holes to line-up to insert the bolt is another story. Gotta have some level ground and usually took a few tries moving the rig around to get it perfect.

I had my first wheeling trip with the LX last weekend. I was pretty happy with the flex. I could use a little more tweaking and new shocks but I'm satisfied... for now. I'd like to toss my ProComp shocks ASAP in favour of something with more extended length.

Running OME 850+1/863 and no front sway bar:

Some nice rear tire fitment (rear is bumped in photo)

Hopefully with a bumper and winch back on, I would not have been 3-wheeling here:

Thanks! We were running more scenic trails so there was nothing he couldnt handle. His 5th gen is pretty capable though and seems to get through most of the stuff we have around here without too much difficulty. The RTT makes it a little tippy and it doesnt have as much ground clearance as my LX but all those trail edition gadgets are pretty cool.

I hope that one day my LX will be this cool. So awesome.

Yes, after I tore half of the sleeve out of an OME bushing; have since gone back to OEM bushings. I also welded some reinforcement gussets to the driver side perch, (the pulled pin side).

This is hitch pin and L shocks + a 3" shock spacer.
