New throw-out and pilot bearings. New pressure plate and turned down the fly wheel. Dropping it off Friday to have the underbody and chassis steam cleaned, rust treated, and painted black. Next week- off to get new quarter panel patches, rear sill, and rocker panels welded in.

Where did you find the heater valve?

( sorry just saw your question)

A local O'Reilly Auto part. It is spec'd for a early 70's F100. There were two parts, 74627 or 74628. Same 100% plastic cable driven heater control valve, but each "closes" a different direction ( one towards the valve one away). I did not realize there were two kinds till I installed mine. Not sure which one I got but Either will work with 5/8" Heater hose.

$20.99 each. Good luck

New clutch master, disassembled and cleaned up brake master, installed new gas tank and................ Drove it for the FIRST TIME EVER!!! :steer:

-Reinstalled the front bumper and winch after the front end was sanded, primed and painted after finishing the 2.5 inch HFS kit.
-I then had a front end alignment.
-Today, I had my oil changed by someone for only $29.99. Can't beat that.
-Then later today, my 1978 passed CA smog with flying colors.
-Then even later today, purchased HVLP gun, primer, and all the trimmings.
-Also confirmed that the communist state of California won't let you buy single stage enamel :flipoff2:.

extra wood?

Took the old girl for a spin up to the Flinders Ranges then up the Strezlecki Track to Innaminka. In Broken Hill now and slowly working our way home. She hasn't skipped a beat and nothing has fallen off!
