Took a few more steps to bringing this one owner 1970 back to stock. Angle bumper will be transfer to another cruiser not going back to stock. Should hold up better than bumperettes while bouncing around on the rocks.

Wired up a Courtesy light delay to the old HJ47 to allow the interior light to stay whilst searching for whatever you need before you drive off. Works great!

acquired an ICON rear bench for the daughter's car seat:)

Nice vid. sounder, I can't believe you had no neighbors on a Friday night. I like to solo camp also. I'm retired now so I usually head out on a Tues. or Wed. to avoid the crowd. Lets see more pics. of the troopy and some specs.

Replaced all four rear brake cylinders with new. No more leaks.
Added a grill badge that I got from a Mud member .

Bought my dads HJ47 troopy last week. Took it out to the Lincoln National Park camping.

I'm a Youtuber so instead of pics, here's a vid. I should make an introductory thread with a bit more info about the old girl.

cool video mate!!!!

Took off the rusted-out hard top and replaced it with a Bestop Supertop, took off the ambulance half doors and primered the new ambulance half doors, and refurbished the spare tire carrier.

How much did that set you back? How did you acquire it?

It's an HFS from CCOT.

This is my favorite rig on this board....LOVE that color and the ride height

A guy in CA bought an ICON and decided he wanted jump seats, my buddy bought the seat for an unknown price along with some other stuff, his project is on hold, so I swapped him a Cannondale Mnt. bike for it. so I don't know a price....the bike was used about 4 times and new was $1000 but sat in my garage for 5 years......I would have paid $400 or $500 for the seat.....it's probably worth morth since 99% of them are bolted to an $80k rig not a $5k rig!!!!!

Took it to a car show in Taos N.M. and enjoyed the cool temps with my family in the mountains.
