Just got back from Slee. Initial impressions are that their work is absolutely top notch.

Just in time for 200s in ouray! Can't wait to see it in action! Also will it fit in garage?

Thanks for the compliments. Yes it fits in the garage, even with the maxtrax on the roof! About 1" to spare.

WOW, that looks huge. What does your 200 weigh now?

No issues with the sensors or backup camera. Slee relocated the sensors and the backup camera is drivers side biased and still works great.

No clue, but I'm sure I'm on the porky side of 6k pounds at this point. The truck still drives very much like stock, however. A testament to ARB/OME and Nitto to be sure.

Tested out the mods today. They say you should never wheel alone...I maintain that having a 200 series with a winch, lockers, hi-lift jack, maxtrax, etc is not really "wheeling alone"

Anyway, today was great-I broke trail at Geneva Creek here in Colorado, destroying most snow drifts I came across. The truck, including my new locker and new winch, performed flawlessly.

I got high-centered, miserably stuck in the deep wet snow. Maxtrax, winch and atrac make it nearly impossible to be stuck for long.

Bilstein 6112 front digressive shocks with Bilstein matched 600lb spring with Bilstein 5165 rear, OME 7021 rear spring:
The 6112s share some design with the TRD Pro shocks that Brian Jowett is testing.
Initial impression is good but give me a few days to get a feel for it.

From the middle of the hub:
Front 22" and that's on the lowest setting (It was 20.5 with 2013+ strut spacer)
Rear 23"

Please remember this is a test for Brian Jowett. He will post once the all the parts are in place. We have a couple small issues to work out. He's been great to work with.

Right side is done.

Still waiting on a part from ARB before I can finish the left side, and then it will be time to wire everything. I am going to be using the factory sensors, so I will still need to make sure I have the correct size hole saw before I can start hacking away at my bumper.

The ARB harness is NOT compatible with US spec cruisers, so I will need to figure out how I want to wire everything up. @JamesC suggested splicing into the tow harness. I didn't think I even had a tow harness?? Does anyone know where to look for it?

@wct49 has been great to work with. I recommend 49 Tire to anyone looking parts and TLC service in the Jackson Metro area. He also got me a killer deal on this bumper, and is probably so cheap, I can't post it here.

Second. Tell me more about this ARB wiring harness. I presume that there are wires coming from the ARB bumper that you were supposed to be able to piggy back off of the factory socket harness behind the tail lights.

Is it a matter of the sockets wont plug in, the wiring is not coded correct, etc? Can you take pics of the wiring?

I presume that you want the ARB bumper to have redundancy with the factory lights?

Anyhow, here is the tow harness, I bet we could get the ARB harness to work though once we know what we are looking at.

Ok, I must be missing something; I DO NOT have that above connection on my 200.

Should I, or is the tow package an option?


As to the wiring. It is a matter of the master female adapter for the whole ARB harness is supposed to plug into the male OE harness. That does not exist. There is NO plug to plug the ARB harness anywhere. And yes, I want the ARB lights to work in unison with the factory lights, though I may want the red lights to be running lights and not brake lights.
