I moved from Oregon to Colorado 2.5 years ago and I still miss central/eastern Oregon. We get to go to the coast still, once a year, to check on our rental property.

My first post! I bought the truck (2018 with 54K) in April (traded my '13 4Runner Trail w/KDSS)
OEM Spacer lift, Wheels and Tires, Started chrome blackout (teaching myself vinyl wrap).
Wheels: Black Rhino 18x9.5, +12 offset
Tires: Nitto Terra Grappler G3 - 275/70/18 - some rub at full lock in reverse, mudflaps removed.

IMO best color on a 200. Congrats!

That color is fire! I actually removed my spacers (yes, I know it looks cooler), but on the actual trails, I liked having a slightly narrower stance and the scrub radius felt weird with the spacers. Additionally, since removing them, I'm not sure you have to get rid of 'things' in the wheel well, like the mudflaps, but I haven't tried putting them back on since removing the spacers. I have the same size tire.

Here's the mid install comparison. I did spacers, rotors, pads, new wheels all around today, but this was the only pic I took. Now to address rubbing and work on blacking out s***.

Edit: Ha, looking at this pic, I'm messy af. I have stuff all over the place, but whatever.... it all went back to the right spot.

Comparing the front to rear is very striking. A good aggressive set of tires really change the mood bigly.

Interesting. I didn't actually consider keeping completely stock front config. I had to replace a [blown] strut anyway, so I figured leveling it would be a good first step. I had the wheels sitting here for 2 months before install. They certainly fill the wheel well!
Thanks!

I think mfeferman confused your spacer LIFT with the wheel spacers they used.

After nearly 50,000 flawless miles on my Nitto Ridge Grappler 285x65x18 tires, I decided to change them out to the Nitto Terra Grappler G3 in the same size. I'm anxious to see the performance differences between the two on the highway and off-roading while on our trip to the Telluride area in late October.
For those curious to how the Ridge Grapplers wore:
42psi
Rotated every 5k
9/32" tread remaining on all four
Little dry rot on two tires

I’m interested to hear how you like the G3s. They are in my shortlist for next tires!

Same. I have been a BFG KO guy for a long time running them in different iterations on 100s and 200s and now have a new to me ‘19 200 that I am building and my research says that the Nittos may be a better choice for how I really use my 200 which is mostly on city streets in Houston, Texas with frequent 3 hour highway drives to our family ranch (improved caliche roads on property). We do take one trip to Colorado every year for ski season so snow rating is a plus. I also tow quite a bit with is the main reason I’m upgrading to Bilsteins and stiffer rear springs like I had on my ‘10 200 (with BFG KO 2s).

Just finished doing a paint correction to my 2021 Land Cruiser. I bought this vehicle earlier this year and have been wanting to clean up some of the swirls that were present when I bought it. Local detailer quoted me $1000 for a 2step paint correction, so I figured I’d give it a try myself.

I’m new to this, but this is what I did:
- hand washed vehicle with rinse-less wash (Optimum No Rinse)
- did a chemical decontamination by spraying down the entire vehicle with iron remover and then rinsing off
- Clay barred entire vehicle
- Polished vehicle using a random orbital (DA) polisher that I bought from Autozone and Meguiars Ultimate Compound (1st step) followed by Meguiars Ultimate Polish (2nd step)
- Next step (will do later this weekend): apply a spray ceramic or a polymer sealant

The whole process has been pretty simple, but a little bit time consuming since I’ve had to spend so much time researching along the way. That said, the polishing has been (in a weird way) kind of therapeutic. I used a paint thickness gauge and did 2 step on most of the vehicle, but anywhere paint thickness was less than 5 mils I would just do a polish-only in order to preserve clear coat.

Not sure if I will ever do this whole process again, but will be nice to have the DA on hand in case I ever scratch up the vehicle and want to a quick “spot polish.”

You’ve already done the prep legwork! Invest in a good wipe-on ceramic coating and finish the job right. I use “CarPro D.Quartz,” available on Amazon. You only need the 30mL bottle.

Before you ceramic coat it, give it another wash. Then DRY IT WITH AN ELECTRIC LEAF BLOWER. Blow out any crevices where water may be. And when you think it is finally dry, let it dry some more.

Prep the paint with 91% isopropyl and some clean microfibers. Mask off your plastic trim where it meets the paint.

Do all this in the garage and then let it sit and cure as long as you can (72 hours is ideal) and don’t get it wet for about a week. Check with the manufacturer of the ceramic coating that you go with regarding applying additional coats.

Don’t forget your wheels.

Finally came to the conclusion I really didn't want spacers. Since I was needing new wheels to clear my suspension without them, decided I could also go to a 17" wheel to gain a little sidewall. So, out with my 305/65R18 KO2's and TRD/BBS Forged wheels and in with 285/75R17 KO3's mounted to Icon Vector 5's:

Noticeable difference/improvement in ride quality with the extra rubber!

Nice. Were your 18s E load? What about the 17?
