Engine bay cleaned.

Rear entertainment screens deleted. Have zero use for these and they rattle over rough roads. The Trekboxx filler panels were very straightforward to install.

Will be listing the display screens for sale if anyone is looking for replacements.

Put some thread locker on the screws. Mine kept backing out.

Remounted my Bush Co XT max awning with modified roof rack, brackets that I fabricated to match the angled profile of my Dissent roof rack. This allowed me to bring the awning, more outboard and lower. Super sturdy instead of an angle bracket just screwed down to the load bars on the rack. It’s tied into the side of the roof rack as well as the load bar.

Learned some SolidWorks and found some locals with CNC laser and plasma cutting capabilities that are reasonably priced in the process.

This is super cool. The sense of self pride seeing something come together that your designed, had fabricated, and installed is second to none.

Seeing it work is even better too!

I can only imagine the sense of pride the people who designed and built the Golden Gate Bridge, the Mackinaw Bridge, etc felt after it was built.

Does anyone have any experience with teq customs? Im looking for a different way to upgrade the stock halogen headlights on my 09 200 tlc. Ive already swapped the halogen bulbs to h9 in the lows and 9011 in the highs.
Ive already burned through a cpl 9011s..
Any input and suggestions is appreciated.

They're a highly regarded shop in NC. Hunter and his team seem like stand up, knowledgeable guys. I've only had brief interactions with them chasing an EVAP code, but they have earned my trust in our limited dealings. HTH

I bought lights from them for my Sequoia last year. They were high quality.

Looks good. I’m worried about protecting that radar unit. Is it completely protected, like it is with the big L that was there with the OEM grill? I’m in Houston, so I am familiar with the sun damage thing. I’m thinking about how I want to deal with mine. Thanks for this.

I know its a pretty benign upgrade but I changed out the grill on my LX to a "TRD style" grill I saw on ebay. My LX is TX based and had serious sun damage to the grill. I like the change for the most part. I'm just not sure bout the big LEXUS logo.

Looks great! Mine is hurting as well and I have been considering that grill also. Do you know if the black is painted or if that’s just the color of the plastic?

Probably fine as long as you aren't on I-10. I've had so much damage on that road.

I recently added a few creature comforts to the high-mileage cruiser. First, I purchased the new cupholder from BH3D, and I highly recommend it if you don't already have one. It holds any cup securely and has small extra compartments for keys, phones, etc.

Next I added the LC200/LX570 grab handle ball mount from YotaForge for my Ram phone mount. Another stellar upgrade!

Finally, I installed Desert Does It Seat Jackers to both front seats. I find them very helpful to make the 200 seats more comfortable, but my much shorter wife is not a fan because she has to slide the seat so far forward, it subsequently raises the seat a bit too high for her liking. Will try and convince her to get used to them. Overall, very impressed as well.

Spent an hour and a half replacing a driver's side front wheel bearing assembly. I had an odd vibration and noise that would start around 47mph, turning to the left at speed took pressure off of the drivers side and the vibration and noise lessened. Not a hard job, and I had extra parts (lug studs, axle nut, cotter pin) just in case.
I have noticed a slight hum/quiet grind that increases slightly when I turn right and goes away when I turn left. I was guessing front wheel bearing assembly drivers side. Did you do any additional verification or could you tell the bearing was loose when the wheel was off the ground? Just wondering before I dive into the repair. If you don't mind sharing parts you ordered since mine is on the same side. I drive a 2018.
