Spent the weekend playing offroad taxi carting half my friends up and down the mountain to our campsite. Everyone in my group used to own an offroad vehicle at some point, but now only a few do. Glad we got up there though, I was afraid I'd let the whole summer go by without a good camping trip.
Sorry no pics but I used my LX like a truck. I folded all the seats up and loaded 15 hugs trash bags of pine needles and other yard waste to take to the dump. The bonus was a free scale reading on the way out. Completely empty with no driver and about 3/4 tank she was 6180 pounds.
I built a 1/2 side sleep platform.
25" wide. 42" long. The front legs are an inch and a half longer than the rear legs to fill in the drop space upfront and be level. Total height is 11.5" throw an exped mattress in as needed. Decent amount of storage space underneath as well.

Yeah I was think for my HE 200. Wife probably won;t let me do much to her LX570. I was happy I got the third row of seats out.
Replaced door lock actuator assembly on front passenger door. Woohoo! Next up is the driver’s side.
It took me a solid 2-1/2 hours but I was taking my time and watching/pausing/rewinding multiple YouTube videos. Feeling optimistic that I can do the next one in 30 minutes, or maybe 45 minutes max.

I used the refurbished one off ebay. I had found a link to it on one of the other threads here on the forum.

It was time for a much needed wash, clay bar, and wax. I haven’t given the truck a spa day in a long time. Also did an oil change the other day so hopefully I’m good for a little wheeling and camping this coming weekend. First pic is from a week ago or so. Cleans up pretty good from 15ft away

You can get a 4-pack of motors for $20 on amazon if you're willing to pop the actuator open. I've done it twice now.

Wiring for solar. Took Trekboxx out by myself. Slid onto table. Heavy. Will reinstall in a few days after putting an XT90 outlet in the rear driver trim. Thinking about what else to do while I’m in the rear trim & the drawers are out.
With my plan to continue with my alternator/solar charger unit (Etaker) with Yeti/Jackery/E-taker power bank type set up - they may provide enough ports themselves anyway. Although it never seems quite perfect which end of fridge vs which end of battery the ports line up. I may wire in basically a few USB and 110 extension into the wings. Have to think about what slides and what doesn’t. Thoughts welcome.
Happy to discover these little gutter clips have holes thru them perfect for ties for the cable bundle into the rear hatch gap. Need some rubber to pad it a bit before I secure it.
