Do you guys replace this film every few years? Or does it last longer than that?
I put 3M file over every inch of the truck Except the rear tail/lift gate and the roof behind the sunroof where the roof rack is.
I also did the headlights and fronts of the rear view mirrors.

It's been on 3+ years and shows no sign of peeling.
the headlights are as clear as when I took delivery.

Removing the wife’s ppf after 4 or so years was a damn bear. Just came off in thousands of pieces. Too me and the wife probably 5 hours to just remove the half of the hood that was done. 2 cans of 3m adhesive remover and a lot of swearing.

That is one of the major realistic differences between the quality stuff and cheapo.

I just ordered the 3m from Amazon. Hopefully it's real and works well. I'd be fine with needing to replace it every 3-4 years as long as it's easy to remove.

So far the film has worked well - you could literally try and key the car and it wouldn't leave a mark.

I sincerely HOPE what I put on was quality and removing it won't be a bear.
But I'll admit that getting it off wasn't part of my thought process at the time I had it installed.
I'll post when my time comes.:nailbiting:

What key did you get? Any notes on programming?
I used Ebay. Techstream was straight forward. Just had the keys separated by about 20 ft when programming. Go over the instructions before doing one and it can go smoothly. I also used 1010keys to send pictures of my physical key and they were able to cut the keys to fit (another $30).

Received 5 x Denso TPMS sensors, p/n: 550-0103, from Rock Auto.
Discount Tire installed all 5 for $137 in about an hour and had no problems pairing to the LX.
Should be good for a while at least.

I had Expel installed on mine 5 years ago and looked near new right up until they removed it. They only replaced it it because it was part of the deal when they wrapped the entire LC200 HE with their Stealth film.

Replaced my windshield after catching a rock a couple months ago and then parking outside - warming Spring temps must have pushed the chip to spider.

Highly recommend Windshield Pros in South Lake Tahoe if you're in the Tahoe Basin and prefer to use locals instead of going to Sac or Reno/Carson.

Have had a nagging melting/burning smell coming from the truck for days. Worried about the likely expensive cause and fix. Finally located it - mylar balloon baking on the cat. Whew…

Slightly bigger tires vs OEM size. Now on 285/65/R18. Front OEM spacer, rear 227…2? OME springs.
Before in the bay, after outside in the sun.

Hamilton Auto CarPlay installed. Less than an hour all in. Ran into one question and I called them and they got me the answer in 5 mins. Very easy install and glad to have CarPlay now!

Of all the mods we’ve done this is has been one of the best if you poll all the occupants.
