I walk 8 feet to get my coffee in the morning and then another 4 feet to get to work. That works out to 8 miles a day - I drive 8 miles before I have my coffee in the morning.

Personally I'd trust toyota to engineer a filter for their vehicles with a much more thorough understanding of the needs of the system it is installed into, than Fram, who must make assumptions about aspects of toyota's system.Swapped the cabin air filter out today, particularly dusty after COTR . The old one was a Fram, the new one OE, but the new one feels very thin, not nearly as solid. May end up picking up another Fram depending how much it nags me.

That makes sense. I'm not entirely sure why the fram ended up in there to begin with, I'm guessing I was in a pinch and wanted to do it. I also saw there's more than one part number listed, so maybe I'll try a different one next time.Personally I'd trust toyota to engineer a filter for their vehicles with a much more thorough understanding of the needs of the system it is installed into, than Fram, who must make assumptions about aspects of toyota's system.
Right out of the gate the OE pictured filter has 20% more pleats than the fram you removed. That plus the apparently thinner filter media means it most likely flows more air than the fram did.
Yeah there are a few flavors. One has carbon in it, and a couple others I can’t tell the difference. Wasn’t worth ordering them all and putting side by side to compare. That makes sense. #5. Can you share how/what you did for the holster? Shadow 2?1.) 110k mike service interval performed.
2.) Brake system flush.
3.) AHC system flush.
4.) Diffs flushed.
5.) Installed car gun holster.
6.) Added a new cup holder - finally brought piece and quite to the interior cabin.
7.) Added an insert to the cool box - more versatile and usable for things other than just cooling drinks.
8.) Matt and Chris from TKO Fabrications installed the rock sliders I purchased from them last month along with new OEM LC200 rocker panel covers I purchased - I’ll sell the OEM LX sidesteps to pay myself back.
Plan is to install the EE skids this weekend.

Looking great! What skids are those?
Today I installed the OEM remote start kit following these instructions. I initially made the mistake of buying just the ECU (PT398-60160-AA) instead of the whole kit (PT398-60160) which includes the bracket, sound deadening foam, labels and, critically, the wire harness. $256 after tax from my local Toyota dealer. This was added to the thread-
It's a Crossbreed Custom Modular Holster in Terrain Gray w/ a black cowhide backer. It came with heavy duty velcro already cut and affixed to it. I just peeled and stuck it up against the side of the console in the best position I could a.) actually get my hand around the handle and b.) could affix the tape to as much of the plastic surface area of the LX console as possible b/c it has part of it covered in leather. I'd prefer to have been able to use the molle panel from Victory 4x4 but it's designed for the LC which is all plastic and allows for proper, secure mounting whereas the LX does not. TBH, the adhesive on the velcro tape in this setup has about an inch of it laid over the leather, but f'it it's the best I could do and stay safe and functional.#5. The sliders are from TKO Fabricators which is local to me. These are true rock sliders for the LX with protection for the AHC globes. They're quite beefy.Looking great! What skids are those?
Woops, I meant to say sliders. Do they make them for LCs too?The sliders are from TKO Fabricators which is local to me. These are true rock sliders for the LX with protection for the AHC globes. They're quite beefy.
My skids are not installed yet - this weekend. E&E Skid system.
crazy when you look at it that way. i've averaged 103 miles/day since buying mine. and i've been retired the entire time. That works out to 8 miles a day - I drive 8 miles before I have my coffee in the morning.
How did they look? I did mine at the same mileage, rear diff was ok, front was ready for change. Trans was darker than I expected as was t-case. All was about what I expected based on the towing and driving we do in ours.
