Did you just use wrap everything?
The front grill painted parts I painted flat black and the passenger side door handles I plastidipped. All the other chrome pieces are wrapped in satin black wrap. The rear lights and mirror turn signal are wrapped as well. The window door trim pieces are from an LC. Wish I could get the quarter window trim but I can’t find it on any of the Toyota parts pages I’ve looked at.

Pretty sure that part comes with the glass, so can't be ordered separate. I painted mine, but on the 08-11 models, the chrome is only along the bottom, it doesn't wrap up the side.

Can we order the windows from the earlier 200's to get the matching black trim?

Have the part #'s?

thanks, I have the trim part numbers, just needed the part #'s for the rear windows with the black trim

Made a quick and cheap and very unrefined sleeping platform on short notice for a quick weekend trip to Zion this coming weekend after my buddy said a spot opened up on his permit to descent the Subway from the top down. All-in to include the trifold foam mattress on the way from Amazon and the campsite reservation was less than one night of hotel outside the park where they are staying.

The two pieces of plywood lock in position with dowel rods when in the sleeping position as well as the seats up travel position.

Will see how it does for a weekend before I decide to invest time and effort painting or carpeting it or if I want to build something fancier.

Received my new replacement snorkel from Fabulous Fabrications. Went with Toyota “Teq” logo on inlet hex grid inlet cap.

Replaced the shorted Toyota Truestart battery with a Deka 727FMF flooded lead acid; 840 CCA/140RC.
I hope it works out.

why change from a Truestart? (I'm not familar with Deka). I'm going to go with an AGM (that I have already purchased) on my next one but the Truestart won't die. I have them in 3 other Toyotas and we get 7 years at least out of them. The 200 I keep on a trickle charger and I think it will go past 7 years.

Nothing wrong with the Truestart AFAIK but my Truestart shorted and this one had more CCA's; slightly higher price. There was also someone that could install it while I waited. I didn't go with an AGM for the starter battery due to what I understand are charging issues. I have an AGM as my 2nd battery.

EDIT: I've used DEKA since the 80's in my '85 Chevy K5 Blazer. Never had any problem with them so I felt safe with that brand.
