Purely aesthetic mod 😅

Got some @LFDOffRoad Ruggedized crossbars and mounted them to my stock side rails. Super beefy bars and easy to install. These things aren’t going anywhere. Low profile and ZERO wind noise. These will work great for my fishing kayak and whatever else I throw up there. I will probably get their side rails as well.

Also has the ruggedized fairing as well.

Solid piece of gear!

Annual Woowax application. Used about 2/3 of a gallon on the LX. Focused on inside the frame rails and the pinch welds. Also applied liberally as the acoustic/abrasion resistant coating in the rear wheel wells has worn away in some areas.

@coleAK have you inspected your rear wheel wells? I am thinking the dirt/rocks that are used in Alaska has compromised the coating over time. I see bare metal in places.

Well, you picked a good day to ask this question. I’m swapping to my winter wheels on the LX. The frame is pretty dirty, but doesn’t look overly sandblasted to me.

Dosn’t look all that bad. Possibly the 2-3mm of caked on mud acts as protection, since I probably only wash it 4 or 5 times a year.

Got the same set up on mine and love it.

Finally updated the worst thing about the LC200--->the cup holders. This is a new design that BH3D is coming out with. I was one of the guinea pig's who tested out this new version. It accommodates both a Yeti style tumbler and a Nalgene in the same section. I think Brad will have this posted on his Etsy site at the beginning of November.

I've never seen this bumper. More details?
Some threadage
Finally installed the rival winch bumper. @grinchy did a full write up on installing one on a LX570 awhile back. I ordered in August and recently received. It was a little over $2000 with free shipping. They did hit me with a extra $350 pallet charge though? So much for free shipping right? Customer service was great. Very responsive in a timely matter. I also ordered a Iron Man 4x4 12k monster winch which fit with no issues. Install was straight forward and I did it by myself. Took maybe 5hrs from start to finish. The only issue I had was with the weather strip along the edge of the bumper. It just looks like crap. It was half off when I received it. Putting it back on just didn't look right. I just got irritated with it and eventually just ripped it off completely. I can live with the little gap for now. Headlight washers didn't fit at all. Didn't line up with brackets. Instructions was so so. I actually watch some youtube videos on it 1st. Pretty much for a more detailed finish look. Happy to answer any questions. Most are probably answered in grinchy lengthy post. All in all was worth the money. Get alittle over 12mpg around town so far. Haven't done to much highway yet.

This thread will focus on install and install modifications to fit the Rival 4x4 LandCruiser 200 Gen 1 and Gen 2 front bumper Model 2D.5724.1-NL onto a Gen 1 LX570.

The bumper is a 3/16th steel winch plate and mount, and one piece 1/4” aluminum shell. There is no hoop option.

For the LandCruiser this is a no cut install, with two models avail, one for gen 1/2 and one for gen3.

Here’s a blended render of what the final install could look like.

Here’s the finished install. Very similar to the render!

Added two new tools to the garage that will aid in my fight against winter road salt.

I put 4,800 miles on her driving from CLT to CO and back on a hunting trip
Bow hunt or rifle? Get an elk? If not, did you have some action?

Excuse me for the delayed response.
