It’s all been coated, this was the only picture I took though. I spray inside all the rockers, doors, fender wells, hood. Any seam that can be accessed gets coated.

Finally got this panhard bracket welded on that I have had laying around for a month. I haven't driven too much, but I do think it has improved the characteristics. I recommend. The welding job isn't beautiful, but for $50 a guy came to my house. I'm stoked!

I'd gladly pay someone $50 just so I didn't have to unpack my welder and do it myself...heck of a deal

A buddy let me borrow a welder, but after just welding a tiny exhaust leak myself, I decided to let someone, anyone else take a shot at it! lol

I only have a TIG welder, so its a bit more of a pain in the ass...

You might want to pay someone a little more and redo that weld, kind of important.

@turbo8 I'll take a closer look at it. It felt pretty good and solid, it just was not too pretty to look at.

I used it to sight in a rifle, the range was far too muddy so the back of the Cruiser and a dirt road at the ranch got it done lol.

Not to knock and just looking out. That looks like a 120V welder which doesn't have enough power for this application. There's signs of cold lap in the weldment which doesn't properly fuse even to the surface of the metal. This part takes the brunt of all side forces so it is a critical link.

Busy week so far. Fluid filmed the 200, swapped on winter wheels, oil change, replaced brake and power steering fluid, and installed new plugs. Next week the ski box gets installed and ready for the PNW, BC, and Alaska to fill in.

Don’t you love the amount of light it puts off?! Seems like it damn near has a 180 degree spread in a recessed light.

Absolutely. Like it should have been this way in the first place. Took longer to find my 1 5/8” hole saw than to install the light. I set it a little low in the inspection hatch - in case I want to add a button switch later.
