I still have some parts for old 60 series that I haven't owned in years because I think it might be useful to someone. But I still can't even give the parts away locally and I'm too busy to ship anything. I just pile them up in the garage and curse at them. I move more frequently than most people and some of these parts have come with me on 2+ moves :hillbilly:

perfect spare parts for road/wheeling trips. it's just the way it is as our vehicles get older, at least to me. when I swapped a new engine into my old rx7, i had every reasonable spare part in the trunk for a good amount of time until i felt confident i could leave it at home.

Paint touch up. Got nailed by a thrown chain from a plow last weekend, took out all the way to the steel. Since I got into it decided to go ahead and do all the rock chips on the front. I’m super carful so just shows how bad the roads are here in Alaska. People that aren’t careful front end can look like it’s been sandblasted. Just finished coat 7 on the big one took 5-7 to fill in the rock chips on the front. Now wait 2-3 days and I’ll wet sand down the excess.

With gas prices the way they currently are I added this Prius Hybrid sticker to the back. Figure its good for an extra couple 1-2 mpg's :)

Got new tires installed... tried my damndest to retain the front mudflaps but it's not looking likely even after a LOT of heat molding.

Fine looking rig you've put together there! My opinion and I might be biased, but I think the big bootied 200-series wear's 20" wheels well. And when paired with big diameter tires....nice!

If you're looking for more ideas on how to keep the mud flaps, check out this post. It took some work, and it may require work behind the flaps, but I was able to keep them with my 35x12.5s

Awesome thank you, I followed your 33.2" front mudflap mod to see if I could make it work and even with the half moon cut and behind the step I couldn't get there. I'll check this out though, thanks!

Ordered some parts. Pretty good deal. Got front/rear brake pads and rotors for $300 shipped.

Am I missing something? My total comes up to $427 for the same parts.

I'm not given an option to check out? Kinda odd
I ordered some parts last night and it was a cumbersome process. Added my vehicle VIN but search was worthless. Had to validate each part against year make model. Anyway, I was able to checkout and get the free shipping. Huge savings. Maybe site got overwhelmed.

I'm getting ready to do rotors as well. Here is some pricing I got recently from McGeorge. I included all the pins, clips, and bushings as well. My total was 510 plus shipping. Havent ordered yet, looking for free shipping at same cost.

@jivewalker Curious - How many miles you got on the rotors and pads?

@jivewalker Curious - How many miles you got on the rotors and pads?
Im assuming the rotors are stock, so 36k. I bought the rig with 29k on it. The pads squeal and dust really bad, so I assume the selling dealer just slapped the cheaper toyota service pads on it. Because of that, I want to replace the rotors and put OEM pads on it and reset to my maintenance standards. I have been very happy using the OEM pads on my 4runner, which is at around 238k and on its 3rd set of OEM pads.

I hinted to this a few months back. Took 2 months just for the lights to show up from BD and of course they showed up the week my son was born. Finally had some time to get in the garage and start working on this. Bought a spare set of rear fog light housings to play with. Pretty much decimated the rear of the housing to fit the light housings while keeping all attachment points in tact. I’m still undecided if I want to leave the lens red, paint them to match or maybe black or just tint them. Regardless I will be leaving the red reflector portion to the side red.
