I miss it every day and makes it worse when I see one. Around here none of them are lifted, so mine was a Unicorn. I found one in Seattle that looks identical to mine for sale but they are asking $93k (2019)and for some reason only has 1,500mi on it. This was mine in the pics.

Today I added some light at the tailgate. A simple led in combination with a pwm regulator to be able to dim the light.

In other markets rear fog lights are a requirement. As such, our bumper reflector are actually light housings without bulbs or wiring to them. It’s a rabbit hole if you want to retrofit an OME stock for the OEM switch, so I didn’t go that route. I just got a couple switchs from CH4x4, a few relays and a set of VLED V6 Triton 7443 with a hardwire pigtail. Once you remove the reflectors you can see when the bulbs mount. Grab your dermal and cut out the plug. Remove the paper seal on the breather and throw it all together. I ran power straight from the battery as I wanted and always on option so that I could use them as camp lights if I needed.

I wired the rear fog light switch as the high output of the 7443 and a side light (camp light) switch on the low output. All power is run under the truck and in through the back as I didn’t want to run anything through the firewall. Relays are behind the panel in the back when the third row belt reels once lived. Happy to share more pics if you’re interested.

I'm a sucker for OEM mods and why it grabbed my attention. I'd love to do something like it one day, but just more curious at this point. She's still bone stock at this point; the 80 is the one I keep throwing money at

Seems like it would be an ideal (aside from being lower in height than normal) spot to put a bright high powered LED bulb wired to a switch for use as a chase light. Basically what you did, but maybe brighter. I realize that is basically what a rear fog light is, but they don't tend to be bright enough for heavy Arizona trail dust on their own. I may tackle this over the holidays. Thanks for the idea.

Yeah, that’s basically what I did. I highly recommend looking into the VLED V6 Tritons. The camera doesn’t do it justice, these MFs are BRIGHT!

I replaced the soft lines between the valve covers and the air box. When doing the heater valley fix I noticed everyone was cracked and hard as a rock..

Thats my plan. One of my rear fog housings is cracked so I took that as an opportunity to order a new set, then see if I can retrofit a small led light housing into them such as the Baja designs S2’s.

Finally installed my Jowett billet aluminum housing and EZ drains on the oil pan and filter housing. Really nice products.

7ish quarts of mobile one synthetic 0w20 at mileage 202,542, about 6.3k since last change. Not sure why it reads slightly overfilled when I only add 7quarts instead of the prescribed 7.4. Maybe my driveway isn’t as flat as it appears, or does putting ahc in High somehow give it a weird angle…

I felt guilty if I didn’t add painters tape even though I’m not OCD, I just was worried I’d be judged negatively! Haha. Great videos and tutorials out there!

Of course it started down pouring right when I was draining my oil on my driveway… yikes

Decided to keep up the momentum, finally swapped in a new PCV valve following Rob Dorman’s (is he on mud?) video on YouTube. My valve totally stuck, no clicking click at all! My ODO is at 202,547, not sure if it’s been done before. Curious what if any notable difference it’ll make, I guess my 2009 LX570 was possibly burning oil.

Oh ya, also swapped in an “exact fit” rear wiper blade from NAPA to have a cleaner wipe.

Is that a self inside of the left drawer for two levels of storage? Is the drawer fully extended in the photo?

The drawers are fully extended. In the rear area of the large drawer comes on occasion a 60L water tank and remains meanwhile storage space.
In the smaller drawer is still missing a flap that opens to the top and divides the upper and lower area (to be seen on the thin board) to have more storage and work space such as when cooking.
In the large drawer I will perhaps also cut a cutout to be able to insert a foldable sink.
Everything is still version 1.0 and the first time I have planned and built something like this. Since I have the drawers simply times planned without me greater thoughts about what I really need them (apart from the work surface).

After owning this bumper for 5 months, having it sit at a body shop in PA for 2 of those months…I finally made it back east for the holidays and was able to get it all mounted. I’ll grab better photos tomorrow since it was pretty much dark when I grabbed this one.

But the epoxy spay and color match is immaculate. The shop did a phenomenal job, it’s perfectly matched. Also I promise it’s straight on the truck regardless what the shadows in the picture depict.

Few odds and ends to wrap up ( fogs, lighforce lights and headlight washers) but all in all pretty happy with my choice. The TT bumpers look better in person IMO.
