Did you see these posts? I am also interested in something like this. Cool!
I did see that. I would like to take it a step further to get some decent amber lighting back there that will legitimately cut through the dust and help protect my rear end on dusty group trail runs. Theres certain conditions here where your visibility literally goes to 0 on some trails if there’s no wind to carry the dust. But also want to keep with the theme of a clean and classy build as it should be on a LX haha.

Agreed here in the southwest, chase lights aren't so much a luxury as almost required safety gear in groups. Sounds like you're looking to do more with amber brights high up?

In an effort to keep the stockish theme for my rig, I resorted to super bright LEDs in the factory fog lamp positions. I figured I could use super bright bulbs to make up for color and height as the SwitchPros I use to control them have the ability to dim lights to 3 levels. My buddies confirm they work well for visibility when following. They also work well for ambient light at night without ruining night vision.

Did you just leave the truck on jack stands? or buy a cheap kit to keep driving it?
This was a used set I picked up from a friend and immediately sent them for rebuild. For what it’s worth, ARB is rebuilding them for owners. It just takes three months.

3 months if you send them from Aus right? With shipping I think I would pay more than a new set…. other thing. Do you get in situations where you need the BP51s and could you recommend them over the normal ones? I remember my normal ones even didn’t rly warm on daylong tours in Northafrica on heavy roads.

Water pump was leaking so I replaced it. Here's a pic with the water pump removed and ready to install the new one.

No. I’m in the US. They were just super backed up. I was more than willing to wait considering they rebuilt them for free.

Is that the standard reef drawers modded to fit the Engel? What kind of mods did you do to get it to fit?
Left side is a standard reef drawer and wing - no modifications on the side beside the mounting to the flat plate.

The right side is a wing kit cut to fit and the rest is custom to fit the fridge. 80/20 frame designed by me and custom woodworking by me with help from a neighbor with some decent woodworking tools.

I'll make a video for YouTube soon, likely this week if it stops raining long enough.

Behind the fridge hides a Redarc BCDC1225D and a battery.
