A question for those with lockers. Would a rear or both front and rear lockers have gotten you out of the mud in the above pics? I never put lockers in my 62 and have been stuck. Friends have said that it, the FJ62, is a completely different truck with lockers. On the 200 series with all its terrain and crawl modes, would it need lockers to get out of a slick mud stuck like above? That does not look like deep gumbo but slick mud. I have purchased the ARB twin compressor kit but don't currently plan on getting lockers. If getting a rear locker would allow me to self extract from slick mud like that, which may be beyond the capabilities of a stock 200, I might go ahead and get one or both ARB lockers. To justify the ~$800 compressor ;)

Made the mod to the front of the skid.
Should have taken a picture, but I did jack up from the middle of the lower link, it didn't fail. I assume if you do that from the stock link it will fail?
I’m thinking about flipping my bent one over and jacking it up on the LCA to see if it will bend back. I don’t think it will “fail” but it might bend.

Installed my Bud Built sliders and skids! They go on perfectly. Had them powdercoated bronze to match the Heritage wheels.

The lockers bring you out off the mud. In my 200 there is no all terrain or crawl mode since its the Africa Version as manual shifter without any modes but with factory lockers in the middle and rear.

Ps.: I still have to modify my resr locker since with the bowden I didnt habe enough force to push the rod inside since the sensor that deactivate the ABS needs to much force… I think I will remove the sensor and make a extra switch to deactivate the ABS

I'm running stock systems and have yet to get stuck. Colorado, Moab, Louisiana "black jack soul sucking" mud, and sand have not...knock on wood...held this rig. I have a lot of extra weight as well. Crawl control has done its job, but it has to be given time to work it out, if that makes sense. For instance, I was moving around deer lease and went where I shouldn't have gone. Sandy mud that claimed a Chevy 4x4. Used crawl control, selected mud...after I was in too deep and just let the system work it out. Took a few minutes but I'll be damn if the Gray Ghost didn't just drive out of it. Didn't use my max traxs just let the truck figure it out. That's not to say the system can get it out all the time but for me.. Ive just given it time to work and it has. I will re-gear her in a few years and probably will add a rear locker because it's open but for now I'm super confident in its capabilities.

That looks great! Havent seen this color combo done before. Looks so good i'd feel bad putting those skids and sliders to use.
Thank you. I’m really happy with it. Luckily I have a good friend who is a powdercoater in case I lay it down across some boulders.
I have a few more exterior parts coming.

The side mirror one is replaceable? How do you get to it and what size bulb is it?
Yup! It‘s a 194 bulb. You just pop the mirror glass out (4 tabs on the back of the glass) and then the bulb base is accessible. Twists out and reveals the bulb.

We watching wheeling vids to massage music? 😂
I will say i am relaxed...

No offense i was just very confused for a second lol.
Is this local native music or something? Ill give it to you for originality and respect of locale.
I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bust out the lotion or not 🤪🤣 The end credit was the best. 🤟🏻👍🏻

Nothing crazy but finished swapping out all incandescent bulbs for leds inside and out.

They look great! I love how the puddle and step light come on when approaching the car. Like it's happy to greet you. Even more so now that days are so short.
