After botching a customization I made one out of a sheet of ABS for my Gamiviti rack. I think a 54" wide sheet was like $30-40. I used some cardboard as a template and then cut it with a saw and used a dremel to smooth the edges.I was already looking for it but sold out everywhere
I just added a light bar under my rack and that fixed the wind noise for me. I will be changing the brackets for the light bar and moving it forward so I can aim it properly but believe it will still keep the noise low. A slimmer light bar would also have worked in this location.I was already looking for it but sold out everywhere
Literally no comparison between the two.My saturday started like this...

And ended like this... Switched teams, but still in the same Toyota family.

yeah, these copies don’t have the flatter outer surface like that
@Txoverland This was my solution on the Prinsu rack we had on the TRD Pro 4Runner a few years back. Mind you those were MaxTrax so it might not be a fluid copy with your traction boards. Hope this helps.

I just used some kayak lashing straps on my traction boards. They've held up fine for a couple years. The boards don't weigh much (unlike, say, a high lift).Prinsu installed, 40” RIs bar with security hardware, arb small touring awning with L brackets from Lowe’s, still working on mounting up the traction boards, not that happy with this. Sears cargo box just test fitting for Colorado trip next week.

Day 5 of ownership and the comfy cruiser got new tires. Size: 275/60/20 Price out the Door: $900.62
I have had several sets of BFG's on my last few trucks and they are simply awesome in performance and wear. But, comfy cruiser needs to be quiet and the BFG's get a little noisy for family excursions.
The Cooper Discoverer ATP II is a new tire being carried by Discount Tire/America's tire. The tread pattern is noticeably more tame than other all-terrain tires and there is zero tire whine while driving. The sidewall tread design is beefed up and appeals to my mall crawler sensibilities.
Details below are copied from the discount tire website.

Cooper Discoverer ATP II Features
Improving on its already impressive original iteration, the Cooper Discoverer ATP II lays down aggressive off-road traction for drivers who demand more from their tires.
Utilizing alternating shoulder scallops, the ATP II delivers fierce traction in soft, harsh terrains like mud and sand. But the ATP II isn't just good off-road. It's also designed to handle wet and winter weather when you're on pavement via its Wet Grip Grooves and Snow Claw technology.
Other performance features of the Discoverer ATP II include:
- Stone Ejector Ledges reduce stone retention and provide additional durability.
- Aggressive off-road traction provided by wide off-road shoulder tread blocks, which feature alternating scallops for grip in mud and sand.
- A solid center rib provides exceptional straight-line stability and predictable, responsive handling at cruising speed.
- Rugged shoulder lugs provide enhanced traction in aired-down driving conditions while resisting damage.
- A smooth, comfortable ride provided by its quiet tread pattern design, which features proprietary tread block sizing and spacing.
Cooper Discoverer ATP II Treadwear and Warranty
Featuring a carefully optimized contact patch, interlocking sipes and a durable tread compound, this aggressive all-terrain tire also provides stability you can count on. Thanks to its stable tread area, the Cooper ATP II provides off-road and highway performance that lasts season after season.
Because of this long-lasting tread life, Cooper backs both LT and P-metric sizes of the Discoverer ATP II with a lengthy 60,000-mile manufacturer's warranty. But if you're looking for protection as robust as your new ATP II tires, Discount Tire's exclusive Certificates will cover them down to 3/32” of wear.
Your new Cooper ATP II tires will be covered from boulevard to beach, turnpike to trail. And in the unlikely event they fail, we'll provide you with a brand new replacement.
(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)
Outfit your work truck, off-roader or overlanding rig with the Cooper Discoverer ATP II and you'll be prepared for the worst. And with a tire that handles this well and rides this smooth, you'll still enjoy the ride along the way.

Are those 285/70/18 tires? Any running with the suspension trade? I just did the Ironman stage 2 ... wanting bigger tires now...Treated her to an OME 2” suspension and WKOR sliders courtesy of Torfab.

Thanks for posting that, need to take care of mine now that the lift is done. Question, did you also take off the inner skirts, behind the shock tower that cove the motor? The shop that did my install took them off and I want to replace them. But I need to find the correct fasteners to re-install.Correct, 285/70/18s. No rubbing after trimming the front mudflaps. I haven’t tested them off road yet though. Also, I’ve got SPC UCAs and good alignment. Here are pics of the trimmed flaps, drivers side, if it helps.

Good question. Here’s a shot of it now. Not sure if anything was permanently removed by the shop. Thanks for posting that, need to take care of mine now that the lift is done. Thank You for that picture. Your skirts (?) are still there, and it looks like they are held in place by white inserts.Good question. Here’s a shot of it now. Not sure if anything was permanently removed by the shop.

That's the big question... What are these darn things called? Looks like there's a thread here (with part numbers - not sure what model) on the same topic where an installer removed the inner fender dust shield/engine splash guard/thingymambob/whatchmacallit: BP51 install - inner fender question - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/bp51-install-inner-fender-question.1217427/Thank You for that picture. Here's a pic of mine, I've got the skirts, just need the white fasteners/inserts to re-install. Finding the part number has been challenging
