Another radiator drain and fill after driving for 10 miles last night. Also was able to grab the PS engine block drain and routed 1/4” ID hose to a bucket. Replaced a total of 4 gallons of fluid the past few days. Will call it good and do another drain and fill in 15,000 miles.

No idea what combination of sockets allows access to that DS drain as it’s directly behind the shock tower.

Trying to get my windshield replaced. Has a pretty good crack that is growing. Safelite auto glass told me it's hard to get the glass and they don't know when they will get one in.

Avoid Safelite like the plague. Get OEM and shop around for recommended installers.

What is the finish on your Air Down Gear Up surface? I did mine in carpet but I really like that! Does the slide work pretty well on there?

Driving around in the middle of nowhere, and found that the much reported radiator crack has also struck this LC...

The old radiator with crack extending well beyond the extrusion on both sides

Extrusion on the new one has a different shape and appears to be less sharp. For the rest the radiator seems to be identical to the old one.

While at it, also replaced the hood supports as one isn't enough to keep the hood up...

Hi, it's Minwax stain (I think Gunstock is the color) and Minwax Urethane on top, just one coat because I'm lazy DFG slider works very well.

For Slee you have to wait for them to go back into stock (sign-up for email notification on their site). They were back in stock on March 26th. After ordering they indicated a backup on the freight shipping so it wasn't shipped until this week, go them April 22nd.

I removed all the rear seats when I got my truck. I'm playing around with the configuration. I got my emergency triangles out from the back and stuck them on the roof.

Put on new Method wheels and K02s. Wheels are +30 offset, tires are 285/75/17. Took off 285/65/18 KO2s that I've had for ~4.5 years (still have tread left) and Spyder Trax spacers all the way around. Had to get one of those MAP-Pro torches to get the loctite off the spacer nuts.
Molded the front mud flaps a little with a heat gun, then had to remove the little wind deflector and push the liner forward an inch.

New wheel and tire combo weighted the same as old set up with spacers?

And when you get the email, stop everything and go buy them at that moment..... I think the last load that they got in all sold in less than an hour. I missed the first time I signed up because I waited until the evening to go to oder them, and they were gone.... this time, I put a meeting on hold and went and placed my order..... they arrived yesterday, undamaged.
