Winter wheel set removed. Mounted new KO2s (285/65/18) on a set of TRD Pros. Still a lot of snow here in Idaho on the trails we usually run but managed to find some dirt in the valley between Victor and Driggs. Had to get the new shoes just a little dirty.

@VooDoo2 - I'm about to ask a dummy question....

Why is the sway bar below the axle?

I admit to never having any LC up on a lift - so I would know how dumb my question is/isn't - all I have at home are jacks and jack stands.

Stock for Australia, something due to a suspension mod, in the middle of the rod replacement project, or I just don't understand? Will it get tucked up behind the axle when all buttoned up?

it’s not actually connected atm as we were testing the droop without it. There are no dumb questions bud, ask anything you want.

Long arm kit?

I've seen new new ones on jeeps they now weld a mount outside the frame rail to get that extra bit of clearance.
Slightly longer and corrects the pinion angle when lifted and stops the upper control arms hitting the fuel tank at extreme flex. Helps the diff rotate better as bushes are a lot bigger.

Finished up the side and rear floodlights. Although I hate getting camp late having these will make setting up easier. I have to test the Bluetooth Trigger controller to see if the remote will work from within the trailer. Could be good bear control .

I installed the RAM Pod HD mount to hold my Ipad. It's an expensive setup and I ended up having to cut the bracket down so that the passenger seat could move forward and backward for most of its range since my wife swaps b/w the front seat and back with the kids during long trips.

It is much sturdier than the standard no drill mount I had on the 100.

Just FYI if anyone else is doing this .. the Tundra ram base fits and uses both front seat bolts. Makes it more stable.

Link?

I think this will work fine for my iPad.Maybe not so great for a tablet or something heavier.

^^ I have the RAM no-drill base and tele-pole mount installed. It was designed for the Tundra and other vehicles with the 17" seat bolt hole centers. It works but requires a spacer to get the pole vertical and allow the glove box to open. I believe the base I have is either the RAM-VB-137, RAM-VB-149 or RAM-VB-180 (not sure what the differences are).

I used a bolt spacer from Ace Hardware store, and on my setup I have a ram-mount-set-back that goes between the base and the pole which allows set-back from the glove box; then at the base of the pole a quick disconnect for when I'm not using my getac.

The base mount looks like that one.

I don’t think my wife would like that big base plate too much! Plus it looks like it limits the forward travel of the seat.

The setup I have puts the iPad at perfect height. I run maps while out on the trail and don’t want to be looking down any further than necessary.

His setup is different .. mine sits near the floor almost flush, and it has a quick disconnect. The forward motion of the seat has about 1" less than normal, it slides over that base bracket. The difference is with the style of bracket the base is solid. It is not better for your situation .. just a different option.

Pics? I am always looking for better solutions.

Nice. Have a link?

Installed majority of Budbuilt slider plates. Fuel tank protection coming in a few weeks.

Took longer than expected but by myself. Ramps and floor jack huge help. Rob at BB super responsive to questions.

Couple things to note. Make sure you dont crank down on transfer counter/vibration weights...forget actual name. They are cast aluminum and only need about 6 to 9 foot lbs of tourque. I have included a pic of them.

Second install loose before you tighten up everything and when you install the BB crossbar make the required cut on the heat shield, and install before installing armor. Obviously i progressed and found out the hard way that's a no no.

These things are no joke so floor jack is a must to help maneuver into place and help with supporting weight while you install hardware. One man can do it but 2 is better plus need a beer gofer.
