Yeah I’m excited to get my hands on it. Side note the skids are basically done. The sliders with custom feature are still being refined. But we are close. I’d like to talk sometime soon about them.

First and foremost hope ya heal up quick. I've been advised fully functioning organs are important.

Right now I'll plan to text you early next week and then we can find some time to talk. Ain't nothing that warrants priority over your recovery and health. Sending good vibes!

For those of you running TRD Pads, do you get a lot of brake dust? Just put a couple hundred miles on the pads (daily traffic) and I'm noticing a lot of brake dust

I ran some for a while. The wheel dust is Just part of the deal with those pads.

Do the TRD pads last as long?
Alternate report, yes, they do last. I'm going on 2 years and they've held up to my X5 driving style. I did start with freshly turned rotors and bed them in per the instructions. Several threads on the TRD pads already for more detail.

It never fails, open a window while you’re driving after a long winter and you hear the sound of wear indicators.

Left rear rotors needed to be replaced and I was able to turn the fronts.

Brake Day!!

Ah, I assume that's 17x8.5+0? The 0 offset doesn't look like it pokes too much, awesome. Really nice setup. Any rubbing issues, maybe you had to trim?

Brought a 200 home. I almost dove in for a '13 LC in Silver Streak with 67k miles last month, but the technology scared me off. This is an '09 with 148k. It has much less rust than the '13 and cost less than half as much. One owner, all original glass, no accidents or even door dings. There are meticulous records every 5,000 miles at the same dealer where it was purchased, then later traded. I haven't tried the KDSS valves yet, but may be breaking out the torch soon.

Hopefully that was a figure of speech?

Nice looking 200, enjoy.

sticks out about inch method says 0 offsets 4.75 back space .

Maybe consider fender flares if your tires really stick out a full inch.

-It would suck to be behind your tires on a gravel road, as they are gonna throw rocks at folks behind you pretty badly.

Can’t speak to stock pads since I only had them a few days before installing the TRD but I would guess no. I got about 30k miles and my TRD pads are done. I liked them other than the heavy amount of brake dust they produce.

Anyone else go from TRD to another pad? The TRDs were a big improvement in brake feel and bite but if there are other options with similar performance and a tad less dust I’d be all ears.
