Bought it. Actually bought it a couple weeks ago. Today I fixed the shaky mirrors though. Looking forward to getting 18" wheels and 34" tires.
Did you have any warning or the leak? Like the smell of coolant after shutting down? Wonder if it's a miniscule leak that's been going on for awhile, that you can't really smell?

I'm leaning towards Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 285/70r18. I've had Terra Grapplers for ever and love them. If they had Terra Grapplers in that size, I would get those but the Ridge Grapplers look good too.

Love the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I have them in 285/75R17. They did awesome in the 10-12" of snow we got this week.
Be warned that 285/70R18 is a tight fit on a stock vehicle. At the very least expect some plastic trimming and of course mudflap removal, and even then you might rub a bit.
I replaced my water pump and Rad at the same time, a year or so ago. I had discovered pink residue on the front skid plates once I removed them for another project. I know they can weep or so I was told but I figured it was best to take care of it while I felt like spending money.
Truckasaurus has a new set of plates. Wife objected to TRKASRS but I like these as well. New stainless screws to replace the rusty ones...

Cool. Those seem to be the ones to get if you can find them. Coincidentally, I just emailed Nitto yesterday about whether they intend to distribute them.
I think that will take Dynamat on the windows, which might impede visibility.
I have heard good things about Dynaudio. There was 1 other high end brand when I looked into it a decade ago. MB Quart maybe?

Yeah thanks for the heads up. That's the sense that I got from reading all the threads I could find on tire sizes. I don't have a problem doing some minor adjusting to get them to fit. I'm hoping they aren't too much trouble though.
I had 33's on my 94 for years and always wished they were bigger. I finally put 35's on it and love them so I really have to have something bigger than 33's on the LX570. My plan is to fit the biggest tire that I can within reason.

I was thinking they were available since Nitto lists them on their site. I'll be giving the tire shop a call when I get my rims to see if they can get them.

My local America's Tire (Discount Tire) said that they were unavailable; however, I just heard back from Nitto today and they claim that they are definitely available in their warehouse for special order but that almost no one keeps them in stock. I'd say based on this information that you should be able to locate them but they'll be a special order so you'd need to go through a Nitto authorized dealer.
I may be looking for some as well

The manager at Pacific Tire Outlet in Milpitas says he can get them for sure but may take a couple days. Are you looking at the same size?

Yep, same size. I'm planning on waiting until I get back from a trip this spring but would pull the trigger if I found someone who wanted to take 6 KO2s off my hands at various stages of wear. Not looking to make a killing off used tires... more just don't want them to go to waste.
Not familiar with Pacific Tire... let me know how your experience goes if you go that direction?

I really like this look - nice install!
Search for my "34s on stock suspension" thread to see the effort. 285/70R18 and 285/75R17 are effectively the same outer diameter, and I have the same tire. Only difference is I have +25 offset wheels vs the +60 stock wheels, but you can add a 1.25" spacer to get you to about +28 offset.
