Ordered this a while back and mounted it last night. Still need to wire it up. Pretty slick and tucked.

Has anyone done something like this in the stock bumper fog light location? I had looked through all the photos in the picture thread and done a search on here without seeing anything. Can someone say I am not the first to try this?

I wanted to add some spot lights to the front sock bumper without making it obvious. What you see are hyperspot and SAE/DOT rigid fogs.

Very slick! You should do a thread on this install showing your work (if you have the pics). It appears those are mounted into a custom mount. How are the results?

I have interest in doing something like this as well as something in the rear.

Thanks for posting!

Hit 90k an hour or so ago.

Time for new diff oil.

So, at 90,000 miles, I do front and rear differential oil.

Is there any other oil that needs be be replaced? Transfer case?

I was looking at buying royal purple 75W-90 gear oil. Kinda pricey though. Any better suggestions?

You are lucky your wife let you get away with that.

When I tried it, my wife practically forced me to put mine back on. Doh!

@MScruiser wasn't your wife ready to pop though?

The trick is... -Take them straight to the land-fill before she sees they're gone. :)

Then... The bright side! -You show her how Slee sliders can also function as a step!

It's a win-win! (Oh, and throw in how they help protect from side impact...which they DO!

Looks good. I haven't seen anyone else do this on a stock bumper.

Write up can be found here for a fog light mod. Fog Light Replacement/Mod on Factory bumper

Working on a fairing for this under the rack light bar set up. Prototype 1 in all its glory. Going to fasten it on tonight, duck tape the edges to avoid scratches and listen for wind noise.
Any ideas are welcome. 1/16 thick material. Bead rolled in the center to strengthen. Needs center cut out supports for rigidity. Weather stripping for the edges and then black it out.

if this doesn't pan out I may try some ABS plastic and figure all that out.
Thanks

Looks good, if flying rocks are an issue you could easily put a mesh wire in front of the bar for protection.

Can't wait to see it once painted up

Now you can come to Moab and Ouray. Looks good
