Knock-off spacers come in handy. The wider tire was hitting the bar

Did the 160k service, engine and diff oil, pads, fuel filter but still to do is replace brake fluid, engine belt and maybe spark plugs.

Replaced the belt today but oddly enough after removing it and inspecting it closely it still looked good not worn down and no cracks so keeping it as an emergency spare. Brake fluid needed replacing badly as the last time it was due i pushed it off fir a few days until i had more free time and never actually got round to doing it.

Haha the most fun was we used a steel pipe as a breaker bar to loosen the idler pulley. Put the new belt on and really slowly started lowering the bar while watching that the belt stays on and of course the only thing you wouldn't want the steel bar to contact in the engine bay had to make contact. Yes, while lowering the bar I brushed it against the positive terminal :slap:

I brought home my 5th TRD RW today to have as the spare. Same price as the other 4, which is nice.

Bit of work to fit the 35s, new Method wheels, with 3" slinky long travel Icon suspension kit fitted, a Slee Offroad KDSS relocation kit, and one of our protector plates, before the new canopy goes on the back of this twin turbo diesel creative conversions chopped and extended 200 this week.

Was lazy today so had Toyota finally replace my cv boots :rolleyes:. Whaaat??? They just ripped yesterday. Spotted @LCUAE at the dealers also with their green hundy.

Man I love this dealership. Work was meant to start after lunch and cruiser should be ready by 6pm. But but but I need my cruiser. Is 4pm fine sir? Mmmm no! earlier! Ok, we'll try sir. Pop back in at 2:30 service advisor starts ringing the foreman and techs, customer waiting! Customer waiting! Hurry up! Cruiser ready by 3.

Since i was too lazy to replace the boots myself, only one thing to do with the spared energy.

While differential fluids were still hot from my trip to San Francisco. I decided to do differential fluid and transfer case drain and replenish with fresh Mobil 1 75W-90 full synthetic gear oil. Rear diff is about 4+ qts, front diff is approximately 2+qts and transfer case is 1.5 qts. All done. It took about 2.5 hours including cleaning up a spill. $95 for 8qts of gear oil. Front diff was torqued to 39 Nm, transfer case to 37 Nm and rear to 49 Nm. It's good for another 30k now. I also noticed the breather for rear diff is higher than stock Tundra breather.

My insurance claim was finally approved on the replacement ARB bar after I smashed a roo a few months back. New bar was fitted this week, and as a bonus, I got to keep the old one as well. I didn't like that the old one looked beaten to crap while I was waiting for the new one, so I used the winch on the 60 to straighten the old one, and the jack to flatten out the bow in the top of the bumper. A bit more flogging with a hammer, a sandblast & paint and it will begin a new life on the front of my wife's 200....

I spent the morning changing fluids in the front and rear differentials, the transfer case, and the transmission. It was all pretty painless, except a transmission pan bolt sheared off on me. Another bolt appears to have deformed when it was installed at the factory and it did damage to the threads on the way out. Luckily they're not adjacent to each other and there are plenty of other bolts holding the pan to maintain a seal. It buys me some time to get my two bolt issues fixed.

On the bright side, there was only minimal residue on the transmission pan magnets, so it appears to wearing well.

The differentials and transfer case also looked good. Certainly overdue for a change, but only the usual gunk on the magnets (where magnets were installed at the factory). Thanks to Brian for the recommendation on swapping out various drain/fill plugs with magnetic ones. I'm hoping that small investment will extend the life of my drivetrain a bit.

At the beginning i fully scan the model with both sides, including bumper & headlight mounts and also with other things which i don't remember exactly, that was the ...













Then was a design & construction of new steel bumpers using cad software, with some air flow and frame simulations





All of those details processed on CNC plasma cutting machine, with 2mm & 4mm thick steel sheets

Overall weight: 172 kg

Winch & other factory stuff, captured on lower solid construction







Front side almost finished, upper and lower sides are separately with 28 mm rive

There wasn't necessary to cut or modify any factory plastic or screw and all that parts was counted and saved

At first look you can't tell how high the bumper actually is, do you take it offroading (guessing yes by the winch) what sort of terrain as well

Hi there :)))

Firs of all that body armor was designed for security and emergency reasons only

So car never been on offroad, by that way aerodynamics made for riding with extra hi speed conditions and construction calculated for hit some resistances

So I didn't had a creativity freedom enough, for design or styling
