Brought home a little brother for the 100.

Did some donuts in the high school parking lot. Then installed a pioneer avh-x3700bhs head unit. Felt like uncle Rico living the glory days but it was just a work snow day in Texas.

Finally got around to replacing the heater tee's this evening. I purchased and intended to replace them at 121k but continued to put them off thinking I could get by a little bit longer. Took a peek under my hood this morning and noticed a small leak dripping coolant from the drivers side (hot) stem on the end that comes from the engine block. After classes I came home and did the swap and boy am I glad. The end broke off after I barely touched it and I actually had to remove the tubing that goes from the engine block to the hot tee to fish out the bits that were lodged in there. After removing the tee I noticed that the opposite end was very close to breaking off as well and it appeared as though the coolant had started to eat a groove into the plastic. All tubes seemed to be in good shape so I figured there was no need to replace those at this point, and the clamps held their tension so I reused those as well. Luckily nothing fell down into the coolant system and all is well!

Had the hood painted (ex let tree sap eat into it all over), replaced the antenna mast, and had the seats re-covered. Ready for another 100k miles.

aedgington, can you share the source product and vendor you used for the seat recover? I'm beginning to shop for mine..

Bit the bullet and had a shop do the timing belt etc. Wanted to do it myself but with temps in the negative to single digits and a decent tax return it was a no brainer. TB, seals, idlers, pulleys, tensioners, h20 pump, t stat, drive belt and idlers/tensioner, radiator hoses, etc. 207k miles. Felt like I was driving a ticking time bomb. Finally I can drive without worrying about the belt snapping. Feels good to get it done.

I just picked up an 01 and have replaced all the speakers, hid conversions, led interiors, pioneer dvd deck, redid tint, installed front rear cameras, blacked out badges and rims. Love the truck. Had one growing up and can't wait to see where we go.

Sorry, I had the shop do it. I tracked back the links I've collected over the years to replacements and kept hitting dead ends. The shop I used to have my hood painted does a lot of restoration work, including one of the premiere Mercedes' stores here -- so I was confident they'd do a good job. I've seen front seat kits though the years quoted at $550-$900 for a pair, as well as six to twelve hours labor. Since the rig was going to be there anyway, I asked them for a quote and they hit me at $550/ea. Cheapest ever? Nah. But it's done now, and I'm happy I did it.

Installed PFRAN's LEDs and CV clamp kit. Changed the heater Ts and hoses just to be safe. They were still good after 174,000 miles. No worries now.

Recovered a Hyundai Tuscon that got stuck in a ditch trying to make a u-turn as well as the lifted silverado that tried to pull them out and got stuck in the process. 2 police officers and a tow truck showed up in the middle of my winch pull on the Tuscon and just watched. Not everyday you get to put a tow truck to shame;) All I kept hearing was "What kind of car do you have?!" from the other passengers. Wish I would've gotten pics but my phone died and I was a little busy.

Forge, I was caught in snowmaggedon here, and there were literally cars every 500 feet that were stuck or about to be stranded.

In the middle of the passing lane(center) was a 200 series Land Cruiser just waiting it out...

Love to hear more about your cameras. I just put in a pioneer 3700bhs DVD double din and am trying to figure out how I will. Tout the camera and where to mount the second camera.

Changed the heater T's...cleaned the MAF sensor..cleaned TB and fat matted the entire cargo area. Busy day. Beer time.
