Which part? Rebuilding or replacing?

Replacing. Not from remove lug nuts but from after your wheels off .... For us dummies:grinpimp:

Brock - Any preventative measures you're taking to minimize the stains? Since I sold my truck a couple months ago, my 100 will be used on the deer hunt this year. I'm thinking of fulling lining the rear area (for that monster I'll be harvesting :D). There are some good $$$ solutions, but thinking maybe just a couple of tarps.

I have a Weathertech digital fit rear cargo carrier that stops 99% of the blood. The only problem I really have is when I lower tailgate to drag the deer out...the blood from mouth or wound slides across tailgaite and of course stains. Used plastic garbage bag once but it slides with the deer and ended up not working. Going to replace with cutting board material one day but taking trip to Georgia hog hunting next week and will lay a tarp UNDER my weathertech cargo liner and leave it long enough to hang over tailgate when dropped. That should work and will fold over deer in back to keep it from shifting and getting on it in transit.

Otherwise....get a portable carpet cleaner and use it at end of each season...that is what I have done past three years. :)

I have used one similar to this one to haul out my deer for several years. I raised mine a little to improve departure angle and strength but they work great and keep the blood out of the car.

my only problem with those is it exposes deer to exhausts and heat from road especially if you live a long way from where you hunt and your processor. If I got one would want it to raise up higher in transit...fully wrap with tarp to keep stuff out of deer and also keep the bloody mess from other drivers eyes if offended...and then field dress deer and throw a bag of ice in the chest cavity if you can. If I lived on a farm or just down the road would do it...but for 30-50 miles of driving one way would rather have them in the back with air conditioner on for our early season hunts.

though because of my choices I have to spray the deer with OFF or other bug spray while I hike out to truck so I dont have ticks in the vehicle later. LOL

Yep i lifted mine up out of the way of road dirt. I also transport them in a cotton/ canvas bag so others are not able to see it.... I never thought of the ticks in the car

Damn that's a well armed hog.

I installed a Wilson Flex 4 cb antenna, Firestik antenna stud and LabRack antenna mount this week. I still need to install the radio and coax...

Lol, miss this about Texas!

Personally I am not too worried about the deer, which there are tons of good ideas about mitigating damage...

However, elk season here has me pretty confident that I'm gonna need a trailer...

with an elk or anything of that size.....pretty sure I would cape it and cut all the quarters and loins out for travel...no way I would even attempt moving one whole or even field dressed.

Changed both diff fluids and tcase fluid. Here's my dirty rear diff plug to prove it:

Finally got around to completing install of my IBS DBS. Pretty straight forward. Building cable was the most time consuming part. Everything checks out and appears to be working well. Thanks for the battery hold down Shaggy!

That's sexy! 31 series?

That's sexy! 31 series?

The Main is a 31M. The Aux is a 34M. Winch, Starting and all original ACC items will be run off the main. All add on accessories, Fridge, Lights, Inverter, 12V, USB, CB, HAM and Light Bars will be run off the AUX.

I put 800 miles on it, fixed a leaky cv boot issue, chased down a stereo wire that was causing humming, and am washing it (and by washing it I mean I'm at work and it's raining) :flamingo:

Maintenance Weekend

B² got eight new plugs, two new upstream O2 sensors and one new airfilter.

Should get my mileage back up to 14mpg in no time!

I installed the morimoto elite hid system from TRS. 4300k 35W. The $150 for quality ballasts, bulbs, and wiring was well worth it.

I got some Cooper Discoverer ATPs mounted on Tundra Rock Warrior wheels. About to go mount them on the truck right now. Here is a teaser pic of the tire wheel combo i found on the web, same size and everything i have.

Also, just to clarify, i am running 10mm Motorsport slide on spacers on the front hubs. The Rock Warrior wheels do not sit flush against the hub due to the nuts/studs that hold the drive flange. So you either need to run a 10mm slide on spacers from Motorsport Tech, 1" or bigger normal wheel spacers, or have the centers of the Rock Warrior wheels bored out at a machine shop.

Also, if you are wanting to run this wheel and don't want to pay 190 or so for the TRD lugs, Gorilla lugs will work. I called up their technician and spoke to him about it and he gave me this part number. Its for M14x15, black, conical, spline drive lug nuts.
For 20 of them, plus the lug key #26143BC
For 24 of them, plus the lug key #26144BC (for if you have a swing out carrier, then have 1 extra left over)
I found them on Amazon for around 65 shipped.
