Mostly finished installing the new Slee rear bumper. Got the tire carrier on, then got too lazy to install the ladder or run the wiring for the license plate light.

Wired up my Retrofit harness for the LED light bar to the factory fog switch and did the Pin 17 mod so that my fogs don't turn off when the high beams are on. Now I have to fab up a mount for the light bar so it fits in between the Blueberry Hoop centered.

SanDiegoCruiser,

Can you pm me and explain exactly how you did the pin 17 mod? I've been searching the forum and it's eluded to but I need some explicit instructions. It would make my day!! Actually it would make my night...that's when I would benefit most from the extra light output lol :)

Passed 46,000 miles. Don't hate :)

You might want to consider a hood & some misc parts too. It could be lighting but it seems dented :grinpimp:

Installed a new blueberry bumper and warn winch.

What happened ? Wreck or tree?

Today I put new pfran clamps on my cvs and prepped all tools and lubes for doth diffs, driveshaft maintenance tomorrow.

Sarcasm? I did this quite a while back...zero difference

Yeah...my little attempt at some humor.

Took it off thinking it might be in the way during slider installation.

Who cares about aesthetics? The duct taped air intake has worked for 3 months. The head lights do a great job of lighting up over pass signs and the ground 6ft in front of the truck.

Yeah Nick. Just take out your corner light. It's like a Ram air.

I've been adjusting slowly to a 12 hour time change, just getting home from a trip. I was up at 2 a.m. this morning working on the cruiser.. nothing major, just addictively working on whatever little project still needs tweaking. Today i installed a new CB. I had the cobra 29x whatever and it was way too big for mounting anywhere half stealth or in place not so cumbersome. out of respect for the gods of karma i gave it to a new wheeler in our toyota group that is essentially on the bones of his ass putting himself through school. i also flipped him a set of 4 michelin ATX that i had taken off the rig a couple years ago. 80 percent tread, tried selling them for 100 bucks a piece and no dice.. i figure if the guy can get some coin out of them it can help him pay for truck stuff, beer stuff or buy somethign nice for his chick.. err.. or pay for school.

anyways, picked up the smaller cobra 505 model.. simple and much easier to place.. i added it just off transmission column on the DS.. doesn't interfere with my knee and a bit more hidden than ps side.

also reorganized my slide out drawer and tool set up, added a LED flashlight mount off my hand brake for easy access instead of going into the drawer in the back. i tried to mount it with adhesive velcro but its -25 outside and velcro doesn't stick.. damn canadian winters. its now wrapped around the handle (its small and fits under) with velcro instead of stuck to the side of the transmission column.

I added some hangers off each rear 'holy sh*t handle', including the rear hatch one. i haven't figured out a purpose yet but a small j hook is likely to come in handy while camping.. i was given cool flexible ties that are not much more than padded coat hangers.. they wrap around everything and for simplicity, work quite well for cable ties, hanging stuff etc.

took the rig for a romp in some mud to test out the new open country m/t last week. they work better than my A/T's for what i want them for.

wired in a second auxillary fuse box.. now there is a '12' slot blue sea fuse box up front and second one in the back that has '6' slots. i wired up two additional 12 v plugs to the rear one and installed them on the PS side of the rear carger area, just behind where the 3rd row sits.

patiently waiting 10 mm wheel spacers which should come today and trying to find the breather outlets for the front diff and transfer case.. *i've got an extended breather on the rear axle and have found the one from the tranny that terminates onto (not into) the tranny dipstick.. i need to extend that one and search for the front diff + transfer case tomorrow before we go snow wheeling.

We are doing a mid winter run with a crew of 8 or so, we've had a heavy snow fall and the area we are heading is likely a mix of deep mud, partially frozen ground covered by a couple feet of snow.. which reminds me, some cable PM is needed and a check to ensure my winch is still happy before going out.

thats my ramble.
