Had been chasing a knocking sound for a few months. Did the upper ball joints in June and didn’t have time ( who am I kidding…I was procrastinating) for the lowers.
Finally did them last week thinking they were the culprits. Same process as the uppers: the first one took three times longer, learning what to do and not do for the second.
The knocking has gone away and it feels toight like a tiger.

Have any pictures? This is on my list of things to do.
Na not really much to photograph such a tight area. All pictures I took were just of the setup before I started for reference, which should be exactly what you have in place. I guess my modified screwdriver may be worth a photo.

Was a drawn out repair where i attempted to repair my servo motor a couple times only for it to fail again before I just purchased a new one to install.
Be sure to pay attention to how the servo motor arm attachment connects to the plastic pieces it moves. Take pictures/videos of everything before you remove it. You'll need pull the carpet away from the area and the trim on door side to make that happen.

Working on fixing the paint - clear coat failed on left side. Anyone know the paint code for the trim pieces and bumper covers? View attachment 4006351

You can check this site… it’s been very accurate to date…

Had the belt done, 100k miles and probably 10 years. I would have gambled this lasting another 60. Had the mechanic save all the parts, I bet the bearings would have failed before the belt. They didn’t put the aisin sticker on the engine cover which is a bummer. Anywhere I can get replacement?

Have you considered the fumoto valve? Or do you have one installed already
Yes I have the fumoto valve, very convenient - i just extended the drip level using a hose straight to the catch jug. But I still ended up with a few a mess oil drips when I loosened the oil filter and how tight it is work around the dissent skid plate w/o removing it.

Best thing i ever installed on the LX lol. Makes draining oil so convenient. I’ll just let it drain while i tend to other things

I’ve been thinking about cutting a hole in mine to install the oem access cover.
