I can get a private plate cheap. But it has to be four letters followed by three digits (eg, LAND 105). Can anyone suggest something better than LAND 105 for a 105!? You can message me suggestion! I will post the final choice.

I fitted a drop hitch accessory to the Pak Mule. It works perfectly for the Original PAK Mule. I also added a soft ride pin. Everything is tight, sturdy, and quiet. I can now lower my tailgate to sit on and access my cargo area while I'm at the beach. You can buy rod holders for the Pak Mule and just back up to the surf, sit on the tail gate and fish! can't wait to get out on the beach with this setup!

Are you going to do the brass bush and needle bearing thing too?

I hadn’t planned on it and after cleaning up the passenger side needle bearing, it appears to be in great shape. I just need to figure out the most effective way to grease it up without removing it from the assembly.

Planned on doing the lowers because one of my dust boots was split and leaking. The tie rod and upper ball joint feel pretty good so I’ll probably add a bit of grease and keep running them.

If your front lower ball joints are tight and in good shape, you can replace only the ball joint dust covers. Toyota # 43345-69015… Left and right are the same part number.

Same deal with the upper ball joint dust covers… Toyota # 43324-69085. Left and right are the same part number.

Wipe out old grease, use fresh grease liberally and install the new ball joint covers.

Finally got around to lifting the old girl and getting her some new rims. Went with the 2" Iron Man Nitro lift (Medium springs + diff drop). Wheels are the SCS F5's on 285/75/16 KO2's.. I also have a SHW Offroad drawer system on order which I might be the most excited about of all the upgrades. Being able to permanently store most of our camping gear is going to be a game changer for me as it reduces the time and effort spent moving gear to/from my shed ever time we go camping. Pretty stoked overall with the upgrades though. It's been a long time coming.

A threaded and locked hitch pin is a must and both PakMule and Softride are solid. Something about the standard pin with cotter pin doesn’t look safe but I guess it works.

Decided that I wanted to start cleaning up my 98 JDM LC100. I tool my rig to a local shop to have the Epsilon EliteMax Mesiter wheels taken apart, centers powder coated, and buffed. It was going to paint next (black with white slick top roof and wing). But the the truck died at the tire place so I had to take it home and start working on thre starter...
