Mounted and balanced today, will put them on tomorrow when my lug nuts arrive from Amazon.

According to tirerack wheels are 26lbs, the 275/70/18 Grabber ATX -SL load is 46 lbs. for a total of 72lbs, huge weight savings from the 90lbs stock and E rated KO2s.

These will be my daily driver set, keep the stockies with KO2s for when we hit the trails

Oooooo ... I wasn’t expecting this!

What’s the offset on these?
I’m impressed by the tread depth and raised sidewall on such a light tire.

Please tell me the center caps are going to fit🤞

Offset is +20mm, rub city for sure but I’ll take care of it. Unfortunately the front caps won’t fit, I took a gamble and wasn’t even sure the front wheels would fit but thank god they do.

These tires come in E too, but they weigh 60lbs and look the same. So the poser in me said let’s try SL load, looks aggressive but still ride light and smooth.

Nah. You’ve run plenty of aftermarket wheel & tire combos to know what you’re getting into, the +20 offset will look great

Plus the wheels have a RRW vibe that I dig without being 0 offset

There’s a good chance that @BenCC could help with the center cap or maybe something as simple as longer screws might do the trick

Haha - they do look big ... hmm? like bigger than your previous 305’s on methods

Maybe it needs a little more fender to wheel gap ... time to tweak the sensors north

Pinch weld?
Yeah i had to heat up the little plastic knub right behind the front wheel well, man i've been driving on E tires for so long, forgot how smooth and comfortable it is to drive with regular tires. Getting 16mpg too and i think i can out accelerate a prius now.

@98hundy They're 18x9 et +20 with 275/70/18 General ATX SL load

Yeah rear is cake with that carrier bearing preload adjuster! Makes it almost fun compared to the front haha.
Hahaha, yeah, not looking forward to that. Did you put an ARB in the front?

Eaton Elocker. Similar procedure though! A case spreader would be worth its weight in gold. Stay at it though, the front is doable just annoying to change out carrier shims in search of the perfect combo.

Huh, interesting - didn't realize those were a thing. Do our front diffs have provisions for using one?

Case spreaders bolt into the cover holes, so yeah you theoretically could use one. I’m not sure how much it’ll help with the structure of our diffs. For $80 that I’m seeing on Amazon I’d probably “borrow” one and try!
