Yep, love the emu wings!

You know I didn't realize there were a few options for 100s, I thought YotaTeq were the only ones. Started googling them up and the other ones are more affordable than YotaTeq. Are there any that actually open from the inside? I'd love to crack that open and look at the scenery when I wake up (from sleeping in the back).

Did replacing them clear your code?

what are the part numbers pls? maybe good to get ahead of my preventative maintenance - if these dont cost an arm and leg.
Yes the code never came back so far. Below are the part numbers for my 2005.
DENSO2344154
DENSO2344138

Over the last couple of days I've broken the key (but printed a new one)

remixed a "mount" for my $5 GMRS radio.

and pulled the toasted and tired factory flares and did some cleaning on it. Still gonna hit it with some cleaner wax or something to get that oxidation off.

YotaTeq, Cruiser Company, and Rugged Bound all have solid options, I went with emu wings as I liked the appearance and functionality better (and a good AUD to USD exchange rate in 2021).

They can open from the inside if you don't lock the latch or leave them unlatched, they'll stay closed until you pop them open to enjoy the sunrise!

is that a weather tech mat? If so, how did you keep it from curling?
Yes weathertech, maybe because its in a garage here in Florida I am not sure. Its about 5 years old

Replaced my fuel filter. Based on some Googling it looks like the one that was in there had a date code of 2010. The fuel I shook out into the cup was rust colored and chunky, I'll probably get another one at the end of summer or early fall and see if it comes out clean. I put a Hastings/Baldwin filter in it as this seemed to be a good middle ground of price vs quality.

Next up is the switch panel, then lights, radio, and rear power panel. Will try to knock that out in the next week or so.

I got my $58 eBay special lower seat leather. It overall looks and feels pretty good and the color isn’t bad. I need to clean my leather pretty bad to begin with, dirty week. I’ll probably do a quick review of the fitment and assembly when I put it on. Then double back in a year or so with quality of life.

Yes please do tell how install goes! And post a link!

While i might not be able to afford the latest or new models, at least i can take proper care of a classic old lady. At 10,000km interval -> spoiled her diffs and transfer case to premium oil changes...

Impressed with how the old oils smelled as fresh and looked as golden as the new oil going in.

10k KM diff oil change is not necessary at all unless your truck sees extreme duty work and diffs get submerged into water

Installed the Ironman 4x4 shocks and springs today. The t bars were damaged by UPS and weren't delivered so Ironman were total pros about it and immediately shipped new ones which will arrive on Monday. They were absolutely great about it.

I was still on OEM equipment after 294k miles and it was so time. With 31s my tires were pretty darn in the wells. Things are so much tighter and more comfortable. I'm a fan.

Install was so easy. My buddy let me use his lift at his auto shop and everything minus the bars and diff drop was about 2.5 hours and that's with us talking and drinking coffee in there. No rust at all. The only thing that sucked was the rear top hats. Ratcheting wrenches made life a ton better but it is still annoying.
