Live the stickers! Once „physically done“ I‘ll think about it. But that‘s absolutely the direction I want to go!

Perhaps going even more extreme.

Started my a/c line repair. I knew the small line at the passenger front wheel had a hole so I bought the repair kit for the big line and small. The small line broke in half as I was trying to unbolt the shield.
Here is the area (dirty I know):

Here is the broken line already cut out:

The kit I used:

The ends sitting on the line temporarily so I can cut the hose to the right length:

Following the instructions to make the line:

I was dreading this project because I thought it would be super hard. It was rather easy though and I actually kinda enjoyed it. In the end I felt only needed to repair the small line. I think the big line is ok.

Will it work? I have yet to see. I'll vacuum test the system as soon as I get a little time. I could have other problems as well. I don't know because I bought the vehicle with the a/c not working. That having been said, I don't think this was much harder than capping the lines to the rear would have been.

Decided to do a last-minute solo trip down to Moab for mountain biking and was hoping to get the Land Cruiser on fins and things and Hell revenge. Ended up, thinking that I needed a diagnostic on my transmission because it seemed not to be as smooth as I would’ve liked on the drive down. In the end, transmission, fluid flush, and it cost me about two days of waiting, getting a rental, going down and then the dealer, finishing it and me driving back to Provo to pick it up.

Anyways, there was nothing really wrong with the truck other than potentially low fluid. took it back down to Moab and finally was able to get on fins and things, but because I was by myself and the rain was coming in, I could only do half of the trail.

It was a lot of fun though. I was quite impressed at how capable the vehicle was as I left it in for high for most of the ride, except for steep wall faces where I needed to lock the centre diff. Plus, would’ve been nice to have a spotter instead of me, stopping getting out, looking for the best line and then fumble my way through. Next time.

Because of the precipitation that happened during the week, the mountain bike trails were in perfect condition so that’s a bonus.

Jason i see you have anodizing options for those new aluminum recovery points. Any idea how the bronze looks compared to the Factor55 anodizing that they use on their fairleads?

Pretty close in color. With the distance away from each other I think it will blend.

New rear LCAs, extended sway bar links F&R, and new sway bar bushings and hardware arrived from Trail Tailor. I got everything in the rear complete, but I started late, and didn't want to risk breaking a bolt late on a Sunday, so I will finish the front next weekend. I watched a video on installation, and saw the poster use the old LCA and bolts to get the length right on the new ones...great idea. Does anyone know what the nipples are for on the TT LCAs (circled in third pic below)?
