Installed the @plaidwagon washer fluid tank. no more rubbing on full compression and no more plastic bit sticking down from the Dissent bumper.

Sure what are you interested in? I’ve got more install pics.

More pics would be great. I'm curious to know why it was relocated (and what that entailed) instead of just reshaping it to fit in the stock location. Do you have an LX (I believe they have a sensor level but I' not 100% sure on that). Does @plaidwagon have a store?

Relocated because I was rubbing pretty bad when I stuffed the front tire. Was a 1 banana job, remove 3 10mm bolts and the old one just drops out. Then you move the pumps to the new tank and extend the lines and wiring harness. Could you reshape the stock one? Absolutely, but this is cleaner and looks nicer which is a plus. This is on a LC but he also has a LX version or is working on one I think. Link to the store here with more info. Plaidwagon - https://www.plaidwagon.co/

Here’s a couple pictures to save some time jumping over to my site.

My main reasons for making a new tank were:
-Remove the low hanging plastic tank that takes away from the nice lines on a high clearance bumper.
-End the rubbing when running 35” and up tires.
-Place the tank in a safer location to prevent it from being damaged by rocks and mud on the trail.

@th3l0cust explained the installation pretty well, I have an optional install kit that provides the hardware needed.

Yes, the LX470’s do have a level sensor from 98-07. After a bunch of consideration I have decided to skip the sensor as that would increases my time and costs to produce the tanks. An internal baffle would be needed to prevent the sensor from sloshing around, that’s how the stock plastic tank is set up. Unplugging the sensor turns off and disables the light on the dash.

I’m going to make a post in the 100 series section to show more details and take the discussion over there.

www.plaidwagon.co is my site if you’d like to check them out right now.

Thanks!
Kyle

That's the nicest windshield washer reservoir I've ever seen lol!! Great design work on that

Got my upper and lower control arms on last week, just in time to hit Knoxville over the weekend for my daughter 8n law’s college graduation. It felt good to get rid of the screeching each time the bushing felt friction… which was always!
