Do you have a link? I’ve been looking all over.Got some shades from China that are absolutely amazing.
I have looked high and low and even tried to make my own (they sucked), but these are perfect.

Perfect example of less is more. A well executed resto-mod.Put on a fresh set of BFG KO2's after 50k miles (and dry rotting), new OEM shocks all around and an alignment.
It now drives like a brand new truck! Mine is an '05 with the 06+ conversion and paint-matched bumpers & trim.

I agree... great looking cruiserPerfect example of less is more. A well executed resto-mod.
There are very few things in this world that smell worse than used gear oilI got out for $80 (gear oil & gaskets) and the faint smell of gear oil lingering on myself and my driveway.
Ya know, I heard that beforehand, but I (oddly enough) had a different experience (even if it hadn't been changed in 50,000 miles)! There are very few things in this world that smell worse than used gear oil![]()
Those look new lolFinally got the truck back after getting an extensive amount of work done:
Replacing the original OEM LCA's was the final stage of replacing every old, original and very worn out rubber bushing on the bottom of the truck as well as the engine and trans mounts. It feels like she drives like a brand new truck would have.
- New front LCA's + #2bushing
- Replaced the tired OME Nitrochargers with Dobinsons IMS
- Replaced E-brake cabling
- Install new hardware for the Slee Steel Belly Skid Plate
- Replace the bearings and seals on the Slee Swingout
- Oil Change
- Driveline Lube
- Alignment
Here's what the OME Nitrochargers look like after about 50k hard miles:

Don't have a lot to say about the Dobinsons IMS setup yet but anything would be better after seeing the state of these old Emu's.
I did mine recently, and while the fluid that was draining, was warmed up, the fluid in the bottles was not.View attachment 3272538
Well I changed the rear diff fluid today. the fluid didn't look too bad but a couple of decent shavings were on the drain plug. its not making any noises and there's no problems so I reckon ill just keep an eye and ear on it. maybe do another change sooner rather than later. those slow hand pumps for the gear oil bottles suck when its colder out.
I use the Valvoline synthetic in plastic bags. So much nicer than a pump.I did mine recently, and while the fluid that was draining, was warmed up, the fluid in the bottles was not.
I regret not filling up the sink with hot water and throwing all the bottles in there while I got everything else ready.
Yeah, the oil I used for transfer case was in those, but the 80w90 was in the traditional hard plastic quart bottles.
I'll send you some links that I have saved while I was researching this subject.Chuck, I have a '99 LX470 without a hitch. Wondering if I remove the rear bumper to expose the rear crossmember, would there be a location to mount the thru-bumper hitch like you have? Or, did they actually change the design of the rear crossmember after '99? Thanks!
The picture above is of a 03-05 LX and is unique to them. (I believe all other) 100's have a 4 bolt pattern in the rear crossmember to mount a pintle hitch.
If you would share your research on this subject, I also would be interested.I'll send you some links that I have saved while I was researching this subject.
