Blacked out front grill and rear chrome trim. I’ll probably redo with bedliner now that I know I like the look.

I cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body yesterday, and also replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator as PM. Replacing the FPR is something probably no one does lol, but hey I'm at 231k miles.

Today I will be jacking the car up to look for what's causing my infamous Clunk TM. Looking for wheel bearing play specifically, and also why my front drive shaft has so much free play on the ground.

Tomorrow will replace all 8 spark plugs and ignition coils as PM again. Will keep all coils taken out as spares. This thing needs to take me across the country in a few weeks!

Check rotational play in your axles/hubs. Most likely culprit.

Almost done with the interior…

Just got to replace speaker covers/fabric now. Any recommendations?

I have the same color steering wheel what color did you order? With the speaker grill did you source be ones? My driver's side grill for snagged on something so the fabric looks like it's got a tear

Installed Tesla head unit, was pretty easy install. hardest part was shoving it back in, there is a rat's nest of cable back there. It has apple carplay, which is the only reason why i got it. Also, the music seems to be much clearer and bass hits harder with this than the stock head unit. I gotta do something about the side vents, fits like crap.

Glad that it worked out for you and functions are working. The trim pieces included and not lining up perfect is one of the few things that’s keeping me from getting one. Is there a way to file the mounting clips so that when you put it in it can line up properly?

Yeah i think i can make it work, right now the center piece is too big and it pushes the two side pieces out. I just mocked it up to get everything working, i had low expectations but loving it so far. Boots up faster than i thought, there's no white static noise, and the apple carplay works wonderfully, sounds great with the active subwoofer i added. Should be good for long road trips now, oh and HVAC works too, the important stuff.

Black. Haven’t looked into speaker grill/fabric yet.

That’s awesome! Keep us posted with that plastic trim project if there’s a way to make it fit great and nothing is sticking out. And maybe I’d finally decide to get one.

Full power stop brake kit, new steering rack bushing, repacked the front wheel bearings, drilled out a broken manifold bolt (no pesky exhaust leak now).

Drives so incredibly much better now that the passenger side of the steering rack doesn’t have a half inch to wonder around. Stops good too.

While in there I found a few other things I need to address. New drive flanges and clips/ caps, cv boots leaking, upper ball joint starting to get some play. Oh the joys of catching up on maintenance.

Installed the Dissent bumper.. wasn't aware that I needed to drill 4 holes through the frame for the bumper mount. Took some nerves to make sure the holes were drilled level and straight. With that said, absolutely everything matched up perfectly. Ran the rigid fog lights to the dash (red button). The blinkers are hyper fast.. need to figure out how to slow them down.. resistor?

Went with some simple repairs this past weekend and replaced the hood struts with ones manufactured by StrongArm vs. the cheap stuff on Amazon. And went with a K&N filter! Minor things, but easy fixes.
