Getting these flaking chrome wheels off and mounting the tires on to tundra wheels for now roll I can get some off-road tires. Interesting my 470 is an 04 and there’s no tpms sensor mounted to the wheels. Is that normal?

Chrome wheels were an option. They did not come standard.

I have had a LX and GS300 that both had chrome wheels as a factory option. They both flaked around where the tire beads and each had a tire that slowing lost air.

I would make sure anyone painting them to address the wheel where the tire bead is by sanding or grinding the chrome off.

Yah anyone that buys these off me should just have the chrome stripped...Period...Full Stop...

I'm still waiting to hear from Ironman 4x4 as to what you intend to do about the loss of my ONE torsion bar from my delivered order. You asked for my order number that I sent...Order #34695. I sent the picture three times and so far have not heard a thing: This is what I got from you....

Hi Harold. Sorry to hear about the damaged package with one torsion bar. To begin the process of getting you new ones, we will need some pictures of the box and the condition it arrived it. Can you please provide a few pics of the damage?

Thanks

I would really love to find out what the status is on the replacement Torsion bars.
Glad we got you all taken care of!

Installed my new Dissent ultra high clearance front bumper. @benc is a master in thinking through how he designs the bumpers the little things to help ensure easy install and flawless lines are unbelievable.

Just need the Fog lights to get here so fill in the gaps. And I think I'm going to get rid of the wind deflector. Thoughts?

As much fun as they are to get dirty, they sure do look good cleaned up! I recently completed the paint work correction and ceramic coating! Also, in recent months added a Bowfin roof rack! Next will be a set of wheels and tires! She is slowly getting there!

+1 on getting rid of the deflectors.

Is glass covered by insurance? Not a fan of the deflectors but have received a few small rock chips driving on the interstate.

Ordered a new steering wheel and motor for the tilt, replaced the battery, ordered weather tech mats, ordered a bolt for the passenger side seat belt, paid taxes & got registration square, cleaned the outside door handles and sent some hate email to the used car dealership from whom I purchased the LC.

Thank you! I ended up going with Avalon King to try it out, they had some good deals around the holidays!

First, I started with a really good wash, that way I could remove as much dirt and grime as possible! I followed that up with a Iron & Fallout remover. After that, I washed the vehicle again! After the vehicle was dry, I went back and used some paint cleaning clay to remove any contaminants that were left! After I was done with that process, I buffed the the vehicle to remove any fine scratches and swirl marks! Then, per Avalon’s instructions they say to use isopropyl alcohol to wipe down the vehicle to remove all old waxes etc! Lastly, I applied the ceramic coating, I ended up going with 2 coats on mine!

Fixed the rear view mirror adjustment problem. Replacing the switch did the trick. Part# 84870-60080. I figured the switch was on the way out when I replaced mirrows and still had the same adjustment problem. Everything works good now.

Cool. Mine is currently in same half-broke state. The inside adjustment, nah- but the fold em up button still works. Weird.
