Really? That's disappointing. Does it look like the bar can be trimmed at all to get them to fit?
Yes if trimmed two sides of the support bracket. But don't wanna do that

So of the options there it looks like I'd need the combination spacers to fit the recovery points with a 2003 ARB Deluxe on my 2000 LX. Am I reading that correct?

Yes, that's correct. I think the Road Safe recovery point from Australia might be the only ones that don't require a spacer and I'm not even sure about those.

It appear that the spacers could be made easy enough from a piece of 3/8" or 1/2" flat bar.

Edit to add: Here is a thread on the Road Safe recovery points.

That land looks sweet. Congrats. Gonna take a road trip out your way in a few weeks.
We’ll be gone in Southern UT, AZ, but put these on you list, if you mean Carbon County: Gordon Creek Falls, Pinnacle Peak, Bruin Point, and if you have time, 9 Mile Canyon and the Great Hunt Panel. If you’re going to farther south, San Rafael, then see The Wedge, Furniture Wash, Mushroom Rock. PM me for an even cooler place, we don’t share publicly, in that area.

Installed CVJ axles, no more vibration issues. Gonna try cranking up the tbars to level it a bit and see if it's still good.

Raised it to 22" front and 23" rear, still no vibrations 😁

Pretty well done messing with it until my bumpers, rack, and skid plates arrive. Just driving and maintaining it.

Our '07 💯 developed a leak in the radiator. First glance it looked like the top hose. R&R top hose and after a drive, popped the hood and had more tell tales of antifreeze leaking. Closer inspection, while running up the temps and pressure, found two pin hole cracks in the plastic top...

I really wanted to throw in a Mishimoto but couldn't bring myself to spend the ~$500. Opted for the KOYO for ~$200. We'll see how it holds up.

Has anyone done an all aluminum radiator by LILAND GLOBAL 2282AA? While researching I stumbled onto them on RockAuto as a Premium option. They want ~$357.00 for their all aluminum replacement. A quick glance at their website looks like they operate in New York State.

Cheers mates,
G

Shout out to the 19 year old Michelin spare tire that got us off the trail and to the tire shop for some new shoes. BFG TA KO2’s 285 75 R16. Super quiet and ride great. Had these on my CJ7, YJ, and Isuzu Trooper. I wanted to give the Toyo AT3’s a ride, but none in stock.
Now the pressure is on to install the coils and shocks I’ve had for more than 3 months to give them some extra room.

I did buy the 22 mm flex head ratcheting wrench. No excuses!

What pressure were you running on the trail?

Its aluminized heat tape that I put on the A/C line and also the AHC line on the D/S of the engine.

After installing the headers, one of the D/S header tubes bends up pretty high and gets very close to both of those lines. It may not be required, but any unnecessary heat on either of those lines is not ideal and just trying to minimize and higher temp levels on them. I also have header wrap if I start to notice under hood temps creeping up now with the factory heat shields all removed with the factory exhaust manifolds.
Ive wondered why the DS tube sweeps up like that on the 98-04 application (for what purpose), and the application for 05/06-07 doesn’t. Nothing different between 04 & 06 clearance-wise just vvt balance tubes. 🤔

Getting ready for her summer vacation part two.
New leather front and rear from Land Cruiser Heaven. This is the second set of leather covers I’ve ordered. The first from Lseats. Do not hesitate to pay the difference if you are on the fence. My wife says it’s the difference between a school bus and a lexus. She’s not a car person but I’ve spoiled her with some nice cars.
While the seats were out, I treated her to a full detail.
The leather was installed by.
I cannot recommend highly enough.
I could have spent all day in their shop. Old school craftsmanship you just don’t see anymore.

Oh! Full on road pressure. I had to watch my two year old and be on a teams meeting. So I figured I’d cruise locally up by Timpanogos. She always passes out off road. Those tires were ready for the great beyond. Should have been paying attention.
