Nice .. I got one of those plates last week too and I just need to install it..... another thing I would like to do is change the door lock actuators in all 4 doors so I can use my door locks remote .. anyone has the part numbers for these ..

That explains why I couldn’t bleed the brake fluid on the passenger rear corner. That brake bleeder plug is all rusted and clogged. Essential I do this so ATRAC work as expected when I need it (no air means individual abs on each wheel responds accordingly when atrac engages). Inexpensive part but plays a huge role.

Finally started on rust conversion for my 04, results are amazing so far. This is the same product that I used on my 1969 military trailer that I recently sold. Even with quite a bit of surface dust it came out great.
Did you make that ladder yourself? Or did you buy it somewhere?
Makes me a bit ashamed about putting this off....
What'd you use to get everything looking all nice and shiny?
There is a big thread or two dedicated to this that you might find useful. Also, no matter what you read, I would recommend opening yours up and confirming which shaft type you have before you order new ones. I was positive that I was ordering the right one for mine (based on reading a ton of others changing theirs) and I needed the round shaft when I actually needed the flat shaft. Since I was in a hurry, I dremeled mine flat and it worked, but obviously that wouldn't work if the scenario was reversed.Nice .. These are the ones I needed for my 2004 LC
A 10 year old child could do it at that point. Assuming their little arms are long enough to reach lol. The main problem was that the power steering pump was in the way and the timing belt covers made it a pain to get the alternator out due to clearance.
I did it the hard way because I didn't want to drain any coolant or power steering fluid.

Getting started on my projector retrofit. Finally got the housing opened up, drilled out and projector placed inside to see how it looks. Looks decent so far. Good clearance from the lens. Excited to get both sides done and on the cruiser to really see how it looks!

Replaced the Heater T's and hoses using the Wits End kit. Super happy I did since they both snapped in the process of removing them.
A couple of things to note if you're using that kit:
1) My pass side lower hose is little shorter than the original one. Had I searched like a good mud'er beforehand I could have avoided this. The shorter one works but I'll be replacing it with the proper one shortly for a little extra security.
2) Wasn't fan of the style clamps supplied so I re-used the factory ones in some cases since they were a little easier to manipulate.
Otherwise the kit was nice and included everything I needed. The actual job is a total pain in the rear mostly due to the location and access.

Made it out of EMT. I built one years ago for my 80 series and it's holding up well.
Used it for a week of beach driving and camping. 1300 miles or so across 3 states. 0 problems truck related. Great family get away! Lots of margaritas too!
