Agreed. I‘ve done this before, and it’s temporary, at best.It will work for...some time.

I hit one this morning about 5am in Northern Michigan. Low speed strike as I saw it and jammed the brakes. Right front turn signal destroyed, some damage to fender where the signal attaches. Crazy thing is I had 3 close calls all within 5 minutes on the same road. The first I narrowly missed, 2nd I hit, third not too close. Thinking about a new bumper as well.I hit a deer leaving yosemite maybe 50-100 pounds at 30mph, somehow it managed to just ruin my trim under grill and right side headlight where its no longer flush will need to bend metal back in place to make it look new again. 70 bucks new trim, 50 bucks touch up paint for new trim, and somehow bend the metal back in place or get a shop to do it.
I think I may get a ARB deluxe bumper, don't want to deal with this again.

This is the only reason I bought a bumper...after the fact. 100s are tough, but elk hurt - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/100s-are-tough-but-elk-hurt.1220528/ Don’t be me - get yours before it happens to you.I hit one this morning about 5am in Northern Michigan. Sorry to hear about the deer. My headlight trim looks about the same from a fender bender but I don’t think the metal bumper hanger bracket underneath the trim is salvageable. Anyone know the part name or number for the bracket? I need to get bracket and headlight trim sorted before ordering an aftermarket bumper.I hit a deer leaving yosemite maybe 50-100 pounds at 30mph, somehow it managed to just ruin my trim under grill and right side headlight where its no longer flush will need to bend metal back in place to make it look new again. 70 bucks new trim, 50 bucks touch up paint for new trim, and somehow bend the metal back in place or get a shop to do it.

Probably had a few more thousand miles. The vertical lines will make her look thin. Did you keep the resonator? I just replaced my muffler and removed the resonator and ran the tail pipe right behind the rear wheel--nice sound and less likely to get smashed when your back end drops in.New muffler on the ‘05 LX. Had to cut off all the old bolts.

The ABS and VSC are tripped by the O2 Sensor - they may not be faulty. My 07 Sienna tripped the same thing 2 winters ago. Scan tool said one O2 sensor was bad. Fixed it, and then on the test drive the CEL went again (but a different O2 sensor). Fixed that one and never had the CEL light come on again (and the ABS/ VSC went out, too!). On THAT test drive I got stuck in the snow and had to get pulled out. Suggesting a 4wd to my wife resulted in the LX470...so it all worked out!Ugh me too, got all lights off related to exhaust these lights are the only ones still lit. My mechanic said I’m not in limp mode or anything, maybe abs sensor. Lmk what works for you.

My low speed strike with a pronghorn caused $3600 damage - without a wrinkled piece of metal. Just bumper, lights, protection film and labor. I'm in the middle of an ARB install right now.I hit one this morning about 5am in Northern Michigan. Low speed strike as I saw it and jammed the brakes.
