Installed some bling. Looks like I need to clean my engine now....

How my air intake hose currently looks. is that blue bit supposed to be there?

Looks like the PO didn't want to come across with the $$ to replace a cracked/broken OEM inlet tube mate.
Bloody thing is cactus now. Tape is 100 degree celcius resistant but just to get me till tommorrow. Bought the hose this morning. Cost I really didn't want lol

Thank You! I suspected the same and sprayed it down with the hose after pulling everything out to see if I could find where water was getting in. I checked what I believe to be the drain line which was this tubing here but it seems to be in really good condition might tape the seams just to be certain

I am afraid, this much water ingress could be from the windshield frame :(
I'd take off the A-pillar trim and sun visors and pull down the front of the headliner to confirm. It is unfortunately rather common on 100 series, especially if the windshield was replaced previously.

Slapped on the Trail Tailor diff drop. Great kit and installation was easy. Truck feels more “settled” similar to when I was at near stock height up front (19.5” fender to hub center).

Here’s a before and after pic of the CV angle (21.2” from fender to hub center):

Excellent! Your truck looks new, even though you are in Maryland! If you haven't already, look into extended sway bar links from @TRAIL TAILOR - they made a huge difference on my truck.

Added an Agency 6 Soft Shackle Block 2" XL

Very snug fit but I was assured by Agency 6 personnel that mods were incorporated to fit All Toyota OEM receivers...

Cheers mates,
G
Where did you get the other piece with the two tow hooks ? Pretty cool !

Thanks, I went through the trouble of buying mine down in NC to get a clean undercarriage (can’t say the same about the rest of the body). Yearly Fluid Film application (my weekend plan, actually) definitely keeps rust in check.

If I knew about the Trail Tailor links, I’d already have them. I just put in some OEM links. 😕

More free-ish mods. I took off the running boards on my LX over the summer, so I wanted some front flaps for the winter. Had these RallyArmor flaps laying around from my old Nissan Frontier. I used existing mounting holes and drilled/trimmed to fit in about 1hr. These have decent coverage, considering they're the standard size ones.

That is the OEM receiver for the LX 470... The Blue Shackle Block looks great in there. Thanks for the kind words mate.

What did you paint them with? That is my next project for my 03, same color.
Sanded, bonds where needed, phased through sandpaper grits, primer/filler, vht graphite, vht clearcoat. On the caps, used plastic adhesion promoter. Waiting for a cap from ebay as one was all cracked. Also waiting on some black lugs.

Couldn't resist since I have moved the real plate. Plus it hides that crappy looking area that has been under the plate for 13 years.

One more thing, the Muffler man in placentia, ca. Went catsback with stainless and cut out the resonator with a magnaflow muffler. Cruising speed is not too loud but when you get on it, you can tell you got some hairs.

Found 1 of these in this bit, I rekn they've tried to put it in to save fuel economy, but broken it in the process.
Either that or needed the room so makeshift join it was.
