New shoes. Settled on the 265/75R16 this time around. Slightly taller than the 6 year old Michelins that were on there, and tread width change seems negligible. I really wish there was a 265/75 option out there, but alas...

I've seen several threads requesting info on this tire size, so as soon as the weather breaks I'll get a bunch of pics from a few different angles and add to my intro thread. I also have a set of KO2s on my old Grand Wagoneer (31x10.50R15) and it's impressive how good the road manners are compared to the last set I bought about 10 years ago. Excited to evaluate these on the LC once I can start racking up some miles.

I also had some boring stuff done, which was having literally every fluid on the LC flushed, 4 shocks, all the zerks greased, and a few other miscellaneous bits.

Part of my radio screen failed so I installed this last night.

Need to re-drill the stock brackets since I’m using the furthest stock holes to push it out. Hoping to get it so I can re-use the trim while still being able to re-attach the giant screen.

Think this service may have been a bit overdue :hillbilly:
Got everything put back together but the new pads are so chonky compared to the old ones that they still are pressing up against the calipers and you can hear the hissing noise as I roll down the road.

Would it be alright if I removed the shims??? Think that would give them the space they need. :meh:

Is it possible your brake pedal clavis is adjusted to be too long?

One more thing, the Muffler man in placentia, ca. Went catsback with stainless and cut out the resonator with a magnaflow muffler. Cruising speed is not too loud but when you get on it, you can tell you got some hairs.

Nice welds... Got any side views of the outlet pipe?

Did the pads wear evenly side to side?
Inboard usually wears faster
Did pistons compress easily?
How were they compressed?
A screw driver pry bar leveraged against pad and rotor can cock a piston or roll a seal.
Is fluid contaminated?
Contaminated fluid can cause seals to swell and roll when piston is compressed. Pistons will not retract when brake pedal is not depressed.
Were springs reinstalled?
Is a hose restricted from contaminated fluid? Twisted or hung by when removing repacking hub and rotor replacement?

Greased the U joints and shafts and cleaned a little frame rust before the snow and sleet hit.

I guess that’s a possibility. Have not adjusted the clavis. That would relieve the pressure on the pads?? It seems like only the right side is rubbing.
get a massive flathead screwdriver and leaver the caliper apart while its on?, seen a mechanic do it before. IF they are the right pads should go in

Got the 315s on! Rear bumper is new too but still need a few adjustments
What is everyone measuring for fender to hub height?

Will be posting more on my Instagram feel free to follow along! @ventureworks.us

Love the stance on the rig, what lift? and offset on the wheels? Tire Size? My buddy just got his first LC, an 04 and is starting the build list now.
