Is it coming from the top of the motor on the rear where the coolant pipe attaches by any chance, and running down to there?

Got the new Ironman bumper on. Wa-wa-wee-wahhh verdy nice high five.
Today's work was getting the alternator pulled, I hoped. I DID finally manage to get everything off except the connector on the rear. That thing is on there but GOOD, and I'm a little at a loss as to how to get it off. I can squeeze it, I can wiggle it, but it just doesn't seem to want to come free. My gorilla hands aren't helping. Since I'm not trying to keep this alternator, I squirted some PB Blaster around in there to maybe loosen up whatever's seized up. Trying to be as delicate as possible since I don't want to slip and rip those three tiny 245k-old wires off, as that's gonna make more a pain in the ass.
Pointers from the hive mind? Special pliers? Swear at it in Japanese?
Have determined that most/ at least part of what killed the old one was leaky PS lines dripping gunk and goo in and probably gumming up the voltage reg, so I've got a couple of those on the way in as well. If I'm gonna be covered with grease and goo up to the elbow, I'm gonna try hard to fix what's causing that while I'm in it.
Decided while I had the skidplate off that I'd hit it with the ol' flat black by way of cleanup. Everything else under there is dry and tight- I remain amazed at how well these old things hold up.

Sweet garage setup too- that chop/ miter saw even with the rest of the countertop is a slick move.

Neat. That's definitely an option if I can't make this thing pop loose over the next few days. I'm kinda getting a little "while I'm in here" with it, but that's OK.
Yah, cannot remember where I saw the miter saw setup but I knew I had to have mine like that. I can cut 16’ boards up there.
Just changed the rear differential fluid. Crazy easy. Hardest part was pumping in the 3.5 quarts. The old oil was pretty clean, which makes me think it was probably serviced not long ago, maybe by the dealer before I bought it (10k miles ago). Either way, nice knowing it is done. Going to do the front and transfer case sometime too. I have so little experience with mechanic type stuff, I'm taking it all pretty slow.

finished up my wire harnesses for the switch-pros 9100. lights are all mia at the moment so i’m in no rush to install.
all 8 switches run. 5/6/7/8 are all 35-amp so they run doubles 18-ga into the 4 wire weatherpak connectors and go out to double 18-ga that will connect to 14-ga. i don’t have anything that’ll draw 35 but might as well plan ahead for that ice cream maker / blow dryer combo.

Just an oil change and swapped out both power steering hoses and clamps running from the reservoir. Smallest of leaks/drips hoses appeared original but in decent shape.

Also replaced front sway bar end link bushings with superpro poly.

Replaced driver side upper ball joint using 555 from @cruiseroutfit. Boot was torn. Could have just done a boot perhaps but at $27.50 and lots more cursing, why not?

Actually have not driven it yet due to the cracked radiator. Replaced the bushings to feel productive

Just grabbed a Christmas tree...
12 hours later. Center punched. Drilled out to 4.4mm. Most of it came out in shavings. Chased threads. It isn’t great but it should hold. Not sure what a better solution would have been.

Trail repair would be JB Weld- Water Weld. And while it dries, 10 Hail Mary's for good measure.Replaced the leaky old china radiator with what turned out to be a leaky new China radiator!
Ordered a Mishimoto replacement radiator a few weeks back and just found the time to install it this morning. After starting it up I noticed a small but constant drip and realized this tiny fracture slipped by my inspection.
Reached out to mishimoto and hopefully they will resolve this quickly and painlessly as one of the main reasons I purchased from them was their warranty system they seem to be fairly proud of. Unfortunately their customer service call center is closed on the weekends, so I hope the email I sent reaches them before Monday.
Anybody have a quick fix I can cover this crack with until a new one comes? Old radiator was busted as well, so not much good putting it back in
