Nice, 1st gen Insight. Havent seen those in a while. Is that a project for you? Daily?

Got the rear sway bar bushings knocked out so I can devote the whole weekend to the front end rack and rod and PS bidness... lift prayers for my hammer

Y’all be safe in Virginia

Got an invite for some Wintergreen Resort, Virginia wheeling with some Jeep friends so I thought I better get my belly pan installed...

The folks at ASFIR are to be commended. The packaging was stellar and the product is completely plug and play.

The coverage is awesome so this weekend should go without any serious concerns. I think I'm going to look for some SS bolts to replace the OEM fasteners. I was surprised to find their supplied 1/2" spacer and Hex Bolt M8x80 forced me to grab my 13mm to tighten the center portion of the pan.

This weekend will be our first outing since the Falkens and the Rock Warriors.

Couldn't be happier with the look. Now we'll get to experience the performance...:steer:

Can't wait to creat an excuse to rip the running boards off the beast... :p

Cheers mates,

Thought some new 100 owners might find my cheapo lift with odd-sized tires interesting.
2006 LC

AHC has been deleted. Previous owner installed non-AHC coils / shocks, but left the AHC Tbars. This was a mushy ride. I installed / re indexed some standard factory Tbars and firmed it up.

30mm IronMan rear spacers with torsion bar crank.
265/70/18 Falken Wildpeak in SL rating (rides super nice, but might regret not going E)

Good enough for logging roads around the farm.

(Coolant puddle after heater T change to stainless steel)

I have the exact same tire setup. Landed there because I spend the vast majority of my miles on the street, and the wife loves the comfy ride. Wanted tall ATs without going LT rated and gaining the harshness and weight. No issues whatsoever yet with the light wheeling I do. Couldn’t be happier.

Spacers? What size rubber :) looks great!

Finally got around to the installation of the Bora 1.25 spacers and the $350 set of wheels and tires I grabbed off craigslist. 😂

Tires are a little big at 285/75/17 but only rub ever so slightly. They are load range E so huge difference in ride and sound since they are a little choppy on the outside edges. Overall pretty happy with them for what I have into them. Hopefully soon I will have a garage to break them down and clean them up.

Yep, DD ride comfort was also my worry. I was coming off a 1998 Grand Cherokee 5.9L with solid axles and stiff Bilsteins, so anything would have been better. I sometimes think I should have gone E load and never experienced the soft ride of the SL.

Have you done any suspension mods? Thanks very much

Nothing other than getting the ahc in spec when loaded with people/dogs, which for me required some coil spacers in the rear and cranking the Tbars. Rides like a cloud.
