would this work with a 2007 model?

Don't see why not, 100 Series is a 100 Series right? I had no problems with the directions. Be mindful, there are a total of six (6) Nylock nuts in the kit. Five are six (6mm) and one is 1/4-20. Step #12 requires the 1/4-20 to attach the 3/4" tall rubber mounted stud to the "L" bracket. :bang: Also, the pics in the directions counteract the parts diagram during assembly of the heat shield brackets. Some rubber mounts need to be attached to the outwardly facing side the bracket rather than inside, Steps #11 and #12.

I've found over time, that these cold air intakes wake up the engine like taking your hand off the sucking end of a vacuum cleaner hose. The engine/air pump doesn't need to work so hard anymore. I just dated myself there...

Old seats are getting tired

Installed new SOR tuff duck seat covers. I had these on my 80 and loved the quality and fitment. Install was simple and they fit great.

Also installed a RAM mount for my phone:

So what are your opinions between these seat covers and L seat? I guess its just a preference between canvas vs leather?

I have never done L seat covers before- however my opinion is if I'm going to do leather, I would take my seats in and have them professionally re-upholstered rather than putting a generic leather cover on. These Tuff Duck slip covers are made just for Land Cruisers and each series is custom fit. I'm normally not really a seat cover fan, but these covers offer a cheaper alternative and also give the truck more of a safari feel. The fabric of the cover is extremely durable and holds up to extreme abuse.

Updated the front console with a new OEM 80 series gear shift handle (followed @Ayune directions); New OEM t-case shift knob; new OEM shifter face plate; new OEM panel.

New RAM Mount from @BenCC and new ash tray mount from @CruiserGarage to mount Scangauge 2.

My 1999 Cruiser front console looks showroom new again!

WHAT!? I had no idea you could change out the bezel! The peeling letters/glue are such an eye sore to look at!

HOW do you swap it out? Looks like it snaps in place.. does the whole shifter have to come out?

I just pulled the trigger on a couple Renogy flexible solar panels. Renogy has a referral program so I'll drop it here: Shop with me and get a discount at Renogy!
I was looking for ~300 Watts with flexibility as I have my 16' foot Horton Hauler I'd like to outfit as well.

Once Rhino Rack delivers the foot pads I'll adapt my Pioneer Platform off my Excursion to the LX and we'll be off to the solar races.

I also picked up a REDARC BCDC 1225D a while back for my Excursion build-out that I will also be incorporating.

Cheers mates,
G

Yes. You can change out the plate. It does run about 75-100 bucks online. They just snap out, but you will have to remove the shifter handle to install.

Am very intrigued by this as well. Would love the cleaner look and additional departure angle this would allow (though minimal)... Not to mention I could get rid of the current hitch that's all rusted out 🙈
I assume this would limit the towing capacity and max tongue weight a bit?
It’s not DOT approved from all the threads I read and is limited on towing and tongue weight.
I needed to drop my stock hitch as the 285 75 16 doesn’t fit in my spare location. Is the main reason. No matter what I do it is on the panhard. Just need some sort of receiver in a pinch and to mount a bike rack.

Wow, just checked my last post. It was on May 26. I didn't even realize the responses. I apologize, for just seeing them, but so very much appreciated!

Since my last post I have change all of the diff fluids, rear sway bar links and bushings, front sway bar links and one bushing (I broke a bolt on the other side, getting help with that later this week) Replaced all of the lug nuts with new factory ones. Bled the brakes with new fluid, greased the drivers window, put on the new hood struts, replaced the key with a new chip key and replacing the remote key later this week, greased all of the drive line fittings, changed the power steering fluid. Today I finally received a new driver door hinge and just finished putting that on.

Since getting it I have also put on a few hundred miles and I have noticed more things that need to be addressed to add on to the long list already.
But not being negative, I love this thing and everything thing I fix is a reward and so very looking forward to the day when she looks like new!
