Finally purchased and installed some retro TEQ badges from @bhicks. The quality is fantastic!

I put a more detailed post on my build thread.

I bought my set from eBay last Dec when they had a 20% off coupon. For 4 285/75/16 Load E KO2s from Discount Tires, I paid $640 including shipping!
I have seen Tundra/Sequoia 18 in wheels show up with Michelin LTX tires on local CL for about $600 from time to time. I have been thinking about buying a spare set for regular usage and then keep my KO2s for wheeling trips.
But, I don't have much garage space, and am also too lazy to keep switching them :hillbilly:

LTX rides sooooo much smoother and quieter than the KO2s, but looks weak. Here's what my daily commute looks like with LTX on

This is 20% city 80% highway, flat road no hills, drove 30 miles after filling up today and averaged 19.5!! When i had 305/65/18 KO2s E on there, i was getting 14mpg at most

My Land Cruiser arrived on the train on Thursday. It took two weeks to get here from Sydney. I spent the weekend fixing problems that the MVR discovered that the car dealer should have addressed, but anyway. I knocked out everything, then retested again today. All fixed and registered, and now a daily-driver 105 is back on the road in the outback.

99 w 174k miles...refreshed suspension:

New Toyota shocks all around w new bushings; new front sway bar bushings, brackets, and end links. The passenger side bracket had broken off the frame because of rust caused by the AC condenser drip onto the frame but new one welded back on and all good to go.

New muffler as well. Looking to work out seized up Ebrake system next go-around.

Nitteo,

Can you give me more info about your custom color? also what roof rack is that?

Thanks

My amazing husband surprised me by buying me new fenders and all the necessary hardware to swap them out. One more weekend with old fenders and snorkel, which are getting removed next week.

Had a busy week with my 2 1/2 week old LX470

Had the inner and outer tie rod ends replaced
Installed a reverse camera
Replaced the AC control bulbs and cleaned the button contacts
Replaced the “D” bulb on the cluster
Replaced the air cleaner element and emptied the tuna can
Had the ebay flip key cut. No more duct-taped key
Cleaned telescopic motor. Worked then died within minutes

Next week I’ll be changing the head unit, bypassing the amp and changing spark plugs and fuel filter

Front sway bar bushings this morning, 192k on the rig. They were rough. Pain getting the large bushing out from over the torsion bars. Nice quiet smooth ride now.

A week ago my alternator died leaving me in a pickle on a country road. This week I was able to pick up a denso reman from a nearby parts store, which is nice because I knew I was getting the real deal.
Very easy job in the garage, once you figure out the socket extension combos to get at the bolts for everything. Came right out the bottom and land cruising 30 minutes later.

seems to be a common failure, im getting ready to replace as preventative.

What year is your 100 and how many miles on the original?
